I know people are saying they miss Edwin's voice but I'm actually okay with it, not because I hate Edwin (I don't, he's an angel) but this is the first time I've heard Austin's voice shine in ways I never heard from them
Austin is actually a prominent feature in this song and does 1/3rd of the song which we've never seen before from them. The most Austin has done in the past is a short verse, some adlibs and then nothing.
This is the first time HE'S SHINED AND DONE SO MUCH IN A SONG!
Normally Edwin would do the high notes, verses or choruses in songs and a normal prominent feature in the songs with Austin having no presence in the song
I'm actually glad they did a switch-around with Edwin stepping out for a song and Austin shining so much for the first time I've ever seen in 6 years.
Maybe this was always their intention to have Austin in the songs? Maybe the past labels didn't deem Austin fit for the past songs? Idk the whole story and just making up theories but I'm so grateful and glad this happened, also been listening to it on repeat for days now

Thing about PRETTYMUCH is they're independent now so they'd rather have artistic integrity then just line distribution for the sake of line distribution. In other big boy bands it seems forced that they try to include every single person in the song, but PM has learned to be true to what sounds best for that song in particular.
If you're missing Edwin's voice, I recommend their song "Lonely" which is probably my favorite one.
