yank i really enjoyed this show you caught some nice slabs blue gills yank i notice some times you use a slip barber and some times you do not use a slip barber which is better for catching blue gills and crappies ???? i never knowed you to ever get scunked you have always caught your share of slabs nice records you have for your self keep catching and frying those nice slabs yank my friend stay safe out there look like you will have a nice summer on the waters bob sims
Thank you. I prefer slip bobber personally. Easy to adjust and if you get snagged on a limb under the water you can reel all the way down to it poke it you're out a little bit and it pops the hook free. That's what's good about a barber stopper. They will adjust. You can actually see the bites really good. If they touch that worm the bobber will twitch just a little. Helps me prepare for the strike. As far as skunked. I used to get skunked almost every time. But after lots of practice, knowledge and determination. I can usually catch a pretty good mess almost every time. The main thing for me is, I just love to be out there fishing. Thank you Bob Sims. You stay safe also. Hope you have a great weekend
Yank!!! What a nice mess of bluegills! Once you started catching those slabs it was game on lol. Do you ever go fishing and go to bed at night and all you can see is your floater going down lol…… I have done that many times. Great video. Thanks for sharing and have a great fishing season!!
Another good video "Yank"! Makes me miss the Pee Dee swamps I grew up fishing. I'm now in the upstate of SC and mostly fish the lakes. Good fishing, just different. Fishing around rocks and down trees instead of cypress knees. 😊
Thank you. I've seen the Pee Dee swamps on videos. Nice fishing. Always wanted to go to the Carolinas and bream fish. We have a local reservoir close by, where I can go hunt up the bluegill and catch a few. I just hide from the Sun most of the time. I chose to fish the Cache River swamps. This way I can fish in the shade. 😂
Great bream video. We have been catching them up here in northwest Arkansas too. We only know a few places to catch big ones but this time of year it only takes one good spot to catch a bunch.
Thank you. Yes you guys have some pretty panfish up there. I caught some in Northern Arkansas A couple years ago, beautiful. One thing about it, this is a great time to go looking for them. Hope you guys catch some good ones.
Hey man, just wanted to say thank you for your videos. You at one time told us that you use a Shakespear micro lite rod. Well I happened upon one at walmart last week. I'm tickled to death with it, I paired mine up with a Pfleuger President 20 and 4 lb mono. I absolutely love it. Got the reel cheap too, so all in I'm about 65 bucks.
Nice‼️ I was reeling in a bluegill last year and a 4 to 5 lb Bass grabbed my bream and took it down. I just kept pulling and he finally let It Go. but it was fun.
Aye man I know this may seem like a lot to ask but can you record the bobber action? Just some about seeing the bobber twitch. Its so therapeutic to me but if not that’s fine. Keep doing your thing .
Yes sir, it spokes the fish in here. the water is too clear, they see us and run. But I have some other places I could try to do some jig pole fishing videos.
Good afternoon ! Today is Thursday June 6,2024. I want to go bream fishing and I need to know what are the name and size of that spinning rod and I need to know what are the name and size of that spinning reel you’re using in this UA-cam video here please and I need to know who sells the rod and reel that you’re using in this UA-cam video please. May the Lord be in your heart today to give me all answers to my questions please and may the Lord continue to bless you and your family and your UA-cam channel in 2024 please and I will be waiting on your answer back please 🙏
Sure thing Timothy. I am using a Abu Garcia Max X10 light spinning reel with a Shakespeare microseries light action rod 5 ft 6. Got her spooled with 6 lb test hi-vis Mr crappie fishing line. Under the video in the description box, there is a Amazon link for the rod and reel. Thank you and may God bless you and your family also
Man, you catch more fish than a boatload of pros. This is one terrific Hall today. Thank you for sharing.

Yes sir. They are really great rods at a good price. That should make a really good combo. Hope you catch some good ones with it.🎣
@@FishYanker I’ll keep you updated on your videos. Wish I had a go pro, I might start making some videos myself.
@Deven210 Yes sir, thank you. If you love to doing something, why not video it and share. 😁 Great idea.
Thanks for the great videos. I would love a video of a “walk around “ of your boat. Im redoing an old jon boat and would like to know your setup.
Look up this video: ( Fish Yankers jon boat setup for Crappie fishing )
Would like to see you do a catch clean and cook🐟🐟😉

@@FishYankeryou’re welcome brother
I had caught a small channel cat just when I was reeling in my Bluegill just two days ago.
Nice‼️ I was reeling in a bluegill last year and a 4 to 5 lb Bass grabbed my bream and took it down. I just kept pulling and he finally let It Go. but it was fun.
Big👍🏻. Those were some beautiful bream👍🏻💛🙏🏻
Thank you. I agree with you they're beautiful. 😊
@@FishYanker👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Slip bobber also casts better in the wind because all the load is at the bottom.
Yes sir. You can also reel down to a snag. Give the ride a little poke and it'll release your hook pretty easy.
Do it YANK !! u never disappoint
Thank you Jeff 😊
Nice bluegills
Thank you James.

I here you. I will see if I can find a zoom lens. Then I will be able to get closer. I see what I can do. Thanks Jeriah
Good fishing
Thank you
Do you eat your bream whole or fillet??
I eat whole Fry bream and sometimes I'll scale them then fillet them with the skin on.
What size jig hook are you using.
1/8 oz jig head, hook size is #4
Yall don’t never tight line for bream or crappie, with a fiberglass cane pole, or regular cane pole, or do you find that you spook the fish
Yes sir, it spokes the fish in here. the water is too clear, they see us and run. But I have some other places I could try to do some jig pole fishing videos.
Nice box of fish means a nice fish-fry is coming up...!
God bless ALL of us!
