Garcia (Remixed) is a genre-defying dance potion crafted by LP Giobbi, a forward-thinking, boundary-breaking artist disrupting dance music today. A Deadhead herself, this isn’t her first drop of Garcia’s inspiration. Originally scheduled to perform at Playing in the Sand earlier this year, LP Giobbi pivoted after its cancellation to showcase her “one-woman jam band” talents virtually. In February, she live-streamed “Dead House” with all donations made during the event benefiting the beloved Rex Foundation.
In the spirit of traveling into another world, we brought in our new friend Young & Sick to reinterpret the original cover art designed by Bob Seidemann. The full album will be available on January 20, 2023.

@@susiefairfield7218 it's one thing about how I grew up listen to all different types of music and I always loved the grateful Dead and Jerry and The band and justice the smoothness of the music and you can't forget the great art of those album covers and just the beauty in the cohesiveness of the band

Beautiful blues and rock played by them. 'Backround' goddess singers...they played a huge part in the melodies and appeal.

I'm not against remixing the Dead or trying to experiment with it. I just don't think most people who are trying are in anywhere near the same place as they were when they made it.
Which is why nobody ever really seems to pull it off.
A friend sent me a DJ set from Envisionfest from Costa Rica in the mid 2000's. DJ mixed & mashed Dead music throughout his entire set. It was KILLER!!! Especially the Shakedown riffs!!!
