I have this placement. Mars is debilitated. I may not have the strongest physic, but I'm extremely tough at heart and soul. One day a psychology student asked me agreement to interview how could I be so strong facing the ups and downs of life. I was confused, I didn't know how to answer her question. I'm emotionally strong by nature. The older I am, the stronger I'm getting.

What happens if Mercury is the lord of the 3rd house and sits in the 2nd house in the sign of Leo? Now Mercury technically is not dignified or comfortable in Leo (that would be Libra, Gemini, Aquarius, or Virgo), however, since we know that the 3rd house is a tough house and Leo is the sign of Authority, Power, and Dominance; will that combination be synergistic with the 3rd house? How would the interpretation be for such configuration? After all, the 3rd house and the sign of Leo pair very well but I am not sure what it would indicate in the context of Mercury.

Do all aspects of Saturn produce negative results or imply cruelty, ruthlessness, etc.? What if they are Trines and Sextiles? What would Saturn Trine Mercury indicate? Would that mean critical and brutal communication? Or logical and practical communication?
The sign? Is it not debilitated when in cancer or water signs? My male partner has his mars in the third, and I feel dominated by him although he does coalesc minimally to my needs. But because its minimal coalescence it drives me away as much as it pulls me in.
However he can be very silent and floaty I think its the Sun in Pisces. He is a software programmer.

@@_ojas_energy already life gave me a gist of it i suppose 😝. don't know how old you are and how much of this retro mars you have experienced in your life, but would love to know your experience. i am 32 years old and, for the most part, this retro mars hasn't been that kind to me. even though I was brought up privileged in a wealthy family, it came at a cost. had very abusive parents who caused heavy physical and emotional trauma, all of which lead me to develop deep-rooted unconscious fears and an unnatural over dependency on my abusers. i finally decided to do something about it around the age of 30 and went into therapy, and boy it helped. now i am not sure whether this placement is a blessing in disguise or not, cause now ( after having resolved my traumas) all of my fears have simply gone. not only that but it is as if i don't feel fear as an emotion anymore. they say that the 3rd house mars makes one very courageous, so i am not sure whether this absence of fear in my case can be termed as ''courage". but overall I would say that i went from being an overly dependent person to a more independent and autonomous individual.
p.s- my 3rd house retro mars is in tropical gemini ( sidereal taurus). aries ascendant (pisces sidereal) which makes mars my first house lord and chart owner, so i guess that makes it even worse! also a malefic sun has a 7th aspect on it from Sagittarius. and not to mention the trinal aspect of rahu on it to explode all that negativity 😆. what are your placements though? hope they are at least better than mine 😝

It's kind of strange...gemini is associated with 3rd house yet the description of it is so martian. Hardly any mercurial elements except maybe for skills. At least in this video. Sure there's more things associated with it that alludes to some mercurial things which can't all be mentioned. All the other houses seem more correleted to their respective sign associated with that house. Cancer/moon with 4th house, sag/jupiter with 9th etc...etc...
Although it's kind of similar to the description of another house associated with mercury - the 6th/virgo. Turns kind of martial, doesn't really scream mercurial. Wonder why that is.
