This event is honestly doing a lot of healing in the community and I’m here for it. Watching this felt familiar in a good way and I’m happy everyone is having fun.
Well, it seems that this channel broke the Taboo of PL vtubers, because of what happened with Nijisanji in February, everyone now wants to know the PL of graduated and terminated vtubers.
I still remember the Wrestlesanji bit; The wheel landing on Nina (Matara) *_RIGHT AFTER_* Pomu (Mint) had prayed it wouldn't land on her. It was hilarious.

Im actually relieved that Matara and Doki are in good terms, i think we haven't seen them interacting since the incident until now. I was never a huge Niji fan but seen this kind of things puts a smile on my face, good for them.

Genuinely happy with the direction happening here. Considering back in Kurosanji that Doki, I felt like, wanted to unite the company as a whole with these fun tournaments. Though, for some reason, the higher ups forbid that like they don't want the english and japanese branch to ever interact unless it is set up before hand or whatever the reason may be. This, however, there are no restrictions. No rules. Nothing to tell her what mot to do. She gets to do these fun tournament events and bring lots of vtubers together whether indie or within a company. I cannot be happier for her for this especially having Mint to being her co-comentator back again! Happy for these two :)

This was such an exciting event. Not only did we see a crossover of various indie and company vtubers, we also had what felt like a long-awaited reunion with Mint, Matara, and later U-san joining in. For a moment, it felt like home again. ^^ Doki did so well with this event.
I love that they are all getting back together after the whole fiasco of the previous company. I don't know anything about Sayu when she was there before, but I hope that one day she will join in on the chaos. Imagine it, Doki, Mint, Matara, Sayu and if they want to make it a true reunion add Kuro in the mix.
It really hope that Sayu makes better decisions with handling problems, because one of her biggest mistakes was to give dramatubers content 😔 everyone just wanted and needed to move one, yet she was refusing to keep moving forward, everyone in her community was telling her to move on and focus on her content but she keep on beating on the same horse and people started to get a bad view of her, I seriously hope she keeps learning from Doki, Kuro, Matara, Mint and U-san, because even Doki with all the shit that happened and how badly people has been behaving since, she handled the situation with a lot of professionalism and care by not feeding more on the drama

She was terminated, doxxed, slandered by the company, backstabbed by her coworkers, some news covering vtubers (like Kenji) decided to further slander her, and people sided with the black company. Then she spoke out, revealed issues with the black company and some people changed sides but the general public did not believe her. It was only after Selen was terminated and people were not dumb enough to get fooled twice by the same strategy that she was really able to start her redemption arc, almost an entire year later. A year of living under the results of such a smearing campaign, campaign that still has effects on how some people deal with her. Where do you think Doki would be if the smearing campaign against her by Anycolor had been half as successful as the one against Sayu and she had to last a year before its effects got significantly mitigated? Maybe not in this world, but definitely not making such a successful tournament. "people started to get a bad view of her" That is untrue though. She's doing great and has surpassed, on her second platform (She uses twitch as her main platform) the numbers she had while in Nijisanji, with also great growth prospects. Her main issue is that she cannot always see herself doing well as it is. Yet, even when that happens she still gets a ton of support. She's doing way better than she herself and people like you can see. Consider that Pomu, Selen and Nina were huge in Nijisanji. Zaion was a small fry there. People are usually extremely forgiving of those smearing campaigns. For example, Idol EN did a similar one against Riro Ron a few months ago and literally nobody cares. The good thing about that one is it was so Meme-y, ridiculous and somehow hilarious that KyOresu was able to reverse the negative effects for her pretty fast, by, on one side, embracing the KAngel image the termination notice had drawn on her, and on the other, debunk the slanderous statements made against her. But Idol is not facing any backlash for that.

Sayu unintentionally brought up something Matara (Nina at the time) said to her in confidence about how the clique had basically ghosted her until she pretty much forced her way in and Matara has some bad history from her pre-content creator days of girls gossiping about her behind her back so she took it extra hard and blocked Sayu. Sayu DID publicly apologise for it but I don't know if they've talked after that. Any collab involving both of them is unfortunately unlikely. Sayu was the OG whistleblower, but the combination of Niji's talent-lead smear campaign and her own poor handling of the situation has made her a bit of a black sheep. Hopefully she gets that in check and continues forwards from here

Right now, several rumors claim that Sayu has become much more closer to the members of Phase Connect, rather than the other former members of Nijisanji, despite her public apology to Matara and her declared willingness to collaborate with Doki in the future. And honestly that's fine, in my opinion: In certain situations it is better to establish new, but good and uncontaminated relationships, than to try to re-establish old relationships, but stained by previous problems and which could therefore always be unstable and susceptible to breaking again.
The mint and matara trash talk reminded me of the key and peeled sketch of the 2 fighters giving their interviews where they trash talk. One is playing along and the other is talking straight murder lmao
