Hey Dany, thanks! Its just a reclining chair from a furniture shop locally. it was about $399 (au) from memory. Lots of good furniture places stock similiar things. Ive even seen people use Nursing/rocking chairs from baby shops because they are ultra, ultra comfy and the same overall design.

Yeah it does need a bit of a clean once a month at least, that damn glossy piano black that everything has on it! :-(
+Tim Haines I have a more modest space, but dust is an ongoing get issue. Waiting for some magic contraption that stops it accumulating (and doesn't take up a cubic meter)

Very cool room dude but, as a hard lesson I learned you might want to shift your tv from under the A/C, I lost my PS2 like that but, excellent game room.
+isiahfwalker thanks for the advice. :-) Its really the only place for the TV to sit and the AC is almost never used, if it is, its only on warm in the winter. I put the AC in there before it was the actual gaming room, but ive had no issues thus far. :-)

id recommend a big sleeve for your cables and great video :)
+PANDA EDITS If i ever kept things for long enough id defs go with teh sleeve idea.. but i change gear a lot.. especially pc gear.. so undoing the lot every time i change would be a pain.

Love this room. I prefer not having walls and walls of games. I prefer more hardware showcasing rather than games, with a little section for homages.

"It's only 5.1"...yet, you are only using 2 channels anyway (plus sub), so WHY does that matter? A simple 2 channel stereo amplifier would be sufficient in your case, the rest doesn't matter if you aren't using the surround anyway.
This is true but the decoder came with the pack and i only use it in 2.1 which is enough for me. :-)

Then, why do you look at it as "Only 5.1" like it somehow isn't good enough? There is nothing wrong with 5.1 man, at all. Normally, you will get better sound, and effect as well with 5.1 since 7.1 is "emulated" on the surround channels.

It's an impressive game room that as it evolves over time can only get better and better.
What confuses me, is that you've got your got your PC, and it's monitor, so you clearly understand hardware and by advertising such, you claim you want the best gaming experience but, you play all your games on inferior hardware.... I have to ask, why? I have all three consoles as well, and pretty high end PC but, I play all the multi-platforms on my PS4. I don't game much on my PC anymore because I haven't bought into the whole digital era, and likely never will no matter who the manufacturer or publisher. But, I understand hardware which is why I can on my PS4. I'm not, however, out of the loop and I buy console exclusives for the Xbox One and the Wii U. Seeing as how you're from the outback, I'd assume all your buddies would prefer the PS4 as the Xbox One just can't seem to sell in Europe or Asia. It sells in the U.S. only, pretty much which isn't the case when it comes to outselling the Xbox One. The Xbox One is the primary console for well, those that can't seem to let go of Halo, but mostly for Americans that are angry at the success of the world. They play baseball and American football, eat apple pie, drive a Dodge, Chevy, or Ford, and ride ONLY a Harley. They don't support Microsoft because they're innovative, outstanding, or great businessman, heck, if they want innovation, they go to Apple. No, they endure Microsoft because it's American. That's pretty much it. Sony moving their PlayStation Hq to the States may actually change that as the PlayStation brand evolves to become more of a Western power and influence rather than an Eastern as its slowly abandoned and neglected in its homeland and Japanese developers struggle to compare to beat out Western Devs. Your logic just baffles me, but I still say, your game room is off to an excellent start. Don't be complacent with it though. Keep adding to it, fleshing it out, and find ways to evolve it. I've seen a lot of room tours, and this is easily in my top 10, with a lot of potential. Good job!

What do you mean by "inferior hardware"? at time of writing this I have a 4690k @ 5ghz, a Maximus Hero Vii, and 980Ti etc etc and all watercooled, and AX1200i, A Xonar STX Sound Card ,a 512GB 850 Pro SSD which I've only just added and an ACER X34 Monitor. I wouldnt say my hardware is "inferior".. Just after some clarification on that.
