I love this method so much better! I actually do mine the same way. Doing it from underneath, you don't get the full effect of the crinkle. Also having to constantly clean underneath the nails is a pain! This was a gorgeous set.

I LOVE the holographic effect of the icicles in those tips, they are stunning! The crystals look lovely on the ring finger although I'm not too sure about the "snowflakes"; I'm not sure if it's the darker colour or the size but they diminish the ethereal delicacy of your magicicles. Something like tiny aqua aura quartz chips would also look beautiful.

DAMMIT 😂 I just did my nails this past Sunday and I really wanted to include one of these icicle nails but I just couldn't make it work without doing it under my nail, and I REALLY didn't want to use that technique because I know I wouldn't be able to stand the feel of it. So this is just 2 days too late for me lol. Guess I'll just have to use this on a future set! And yeah, I saw that same LHPN video and was screaming at the video lmao. That plastic was just waaaay too thick 😂. Seemed like every other comment under that video was telling her to use plastic wrap. 😅🤷‍♀️ She managed to get there in the end though lol

I think the reason ppl do it underneath is so it can be totally clear instead of having that iridescent effect since it can’t be totally clear if you build it into the nail
