The first time I crossed the border via a A68 the sun was just coming up and it took my breath away that first sight of Scotland. Its beautiful on the English side as well with all the mature forests you pass.

​@John Balcárcel Oh, it's so much better than it was in England! The weather is a little colder, which I like. Many of the people up here are friendlier (in my experience). I haven't visited any Scottish restaurants yet, but I like Haggis and shortbread. And of course, the scenery is so wonderful! I am so glad I live in such a beautiful place.
