Hi Emily lovely to see you 😊😊
Tip for bolusing. Write the cows tag number on the bolus with a permanent marker and leave them in a clean concrete yard for an hour after doing it, you’ll know which one coughed it up if any are on the ground.
Glyn, your farm looks beautiful! Your dad is one of a kind, so naturally funny!
All the pet lambs 😂😂 AND now you know why your dad doesn’t want them COWS !! Glen 😂😂
I had to laugh at the shearing and dosing. It’s like queuing up at the beauty parlour 🤣🤣
That Tapari has transformed your days work.Well done , you deserve it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Jeez Louise your Texel lambs look very muscular and strong they're growing like mushrooms! One time I was seeing was the wire on and it wasn't and then I didn't know where my cousin was and I thought it definetly wasn't on and sure wasn't he turning on the wire looking at the cameras on the TV and then I kept my, hand on and of and I kept my hand on and he turned on the shock 😂I hadn't a clue what was going on and I went inside telling the story and he admitted it was him😂😂❤
The grass is looking 👌🏼, I really like your fields that are the furthest away.
Tis tough carry a phone in a pair of togs or knickers in fairness. He's right too
Collin’s laughing now because your father likes to lighten the grumpy son’s mood. My parents here in the US had phones but didn’t know how to use them. My father thought the house phone (which was cordless) worked out in the unattached garage! My sisters told him countless times why he had that phone out in the garage! His reply was I thought this was cordless. There were 8 adult kids that never lived in the house now so you can imagine what a laugh we had when we were told about what he did. 🤗😳Seriously if a person doesn’t get to laugh what fun is it to go to work, interact with his wife (girlfriend)or his children, how would anyones daily life be. PRETTY DAMM SCARY ! RIGHT!!?! ❤😟 😊 Great video! 😂
Welcome back my friend .. as always beautiful sharing adventure documentary countryside content video and I really appreciate and enjoy watching you and your Dad bonded so well and doing such an amazing job .. keep it up and the Star .. your Dad is a big big super star in the video .. keep rocking my friend and looking forward to more adventures .. million thanks again from Montreal QC Canada
Brilliant video Guys 👍 👋 Emily, I'm sure I saw a vet program, and he put his arm on top of the🐮 head, inserted his fingers up each nostril and pulled up and back , and the cow opened it's mouth making it easier for the medicine to be swirked in, mind you he had gloves 🧤 on 😂
Have a wonderful weekend Guys ❤
Great video Glynn. The tepari is definitely making things easier for you. Enjoyed watching. 👍🏼👍🏼
Excellent video again thanks for sharing nice to get the cattle out to grass
Glad to see its stopped raining. Summer has arrived early here in Texas , today it was 104 degrees, blistering hot.
Your dad didn’t want the goat at first and now they are best friends 😂😂. I love the craic between the two of you. Is there anything your dad hasn’t done
I have used the original click for many years and while it’s great stuff the effect was shortening as resistance increased with use. I found it started to cutout up to 4-6 weeks earlier on the back end. Mind you that is in Australia where the fly season is quite long some years.
Just wondering what blades you use ergo ovis sheep clippers
Another NZ farming product - us Kiwi's do great farming tools - Te Pari and now Gallagher (they started in 1938 or the original electric fence company) - when I was young my father and Uncle had a group of male guests to tour the farm from overseas - my father came home to tell the story but he was laughing so much he could not get the story out - the guys decided they needed a pee so lined up on the fence line as you do and unknown to them it was a electric fence for the bull paddock so you can imagine what happened and the dancing that came sortly after
🤣🤣🤣 that is brillant.. and a sire dose. ya new zealand make the best and they last👍👍
awesum
Will u ask Ur father does he know Liam brassil from Tralee would be nice to give him a mention in Ur next video as his granddaughter Joanna quirke is a big fan of urs if I can thanks mate great videos
Great group of lambs, they are doing quite well. Freat video as always.
So you’re able to dose cattle no bother in the feed barriers instead of a crush gate well done.
Well the feed barrier bars still manage to restrain their necks then.
@@oisinkierancoyle5518there is a locking mechanism to hold their heads.
Yeah that’s true cause some cattle feed barriers don’t have that locking system.
We just do the ewes with crovect as enough cover on it till the wool comes off..
ya youre spot on, I'll be getting the cheaper one for the rest as the click is gone
Need to be careful with bolus gun can do serious damage to animals throat inside, infection then is a nightmare......Gallagher a great fence....
I found the lazy ewes who peed on their wool were most inclined towards maggot infestation. Does the later shearing mean you have a bit more space in the shed at lambing otherwise taken up by heavy coats? I would have thought on your remote farm, there would be nobody to offend if you went commando on a hot sunny day.
no its more for flystrike as we get it more at the tail end of summer ad autumn here
To be fair, the phone weighs like 7 kilos
What do u do with d clippings ?
@sheepshepherd I ment do they bag it and get taken away or mix it up with d shirt and spread it on land
what language is this//slangy
Pinch the cows nostrils to hold them when you're bolusing. Might help.
@@sheepshepherd you lads are the most normal family on UA-cam. You remind me of my family and every proper farming family I know. Keep it up. It's a marathon not a sprint.💪👍
Glen PLEASE put his number up on reply and leave fans of ye call him . i want to call his phone and ask him.. i don't understand a word you just said but will ya put my on to Sally ❤
Do u have any problems with louping I'll in your ewe hoggetts im getting slaughtered with it last year lost 25 this year 4 dead 2 kicking in 2 days help I cant take much more
Emily’s a fine looking girl maybe I get a date haha
When they say a blade of grass they mean a good handful and lift one foot off the ground it lessens the shock
