The reason I like this is because it is smarter than me. I don't comprehend the meter and structure of their music composition and that delights me to no end.
@craigdamage if you're still here 13 years later- What other music are you into? I came to that opinion on my own musical travels- that I love music that's smarter than me. I'm a big beefheart and royal trux fan.
@@eVISUAL_valdezmeatballchimp Ha! 13 years ago was like yesterday. Captain Beefheart is an absolute INSTITUTION. Royal Trux are major innovators too. Igor Stravinsky. Eric Dolphy. CAN. Roxy Music. Cabaret Voltaire. MELVINS. SWANS. NEU! ....and Frank Zappa are artists I totally dig. Also, the "Spiderland" album by Slint is an utter game changing masterpiece. All that and when I'm drunk I listen to Erik Satie.
Did Albini produce any of their work? I've heard their name referenced so many times, but never heard them until today. Great stuff. I must buy an album.
he was around and i believe he remastered some of their albums. His accountant is on a track on their first record. One of the sonic youth guys produced their first two albums and michael gira of SWANS produced their third record.
so awesome. al is a maniac.
