That Lodekker brought back memories of Brentwood (Essex) in the glorious 1960’s when they were on local routes 262 and 252 - good-old days at Eastern National (BD) Brentwood Depot.
Yet another great little video. Great to find out a bit more about the other vehicles in the fleet. A credit to you guys and your superb enthusiasm. Thank you ! 😀😀😀
Fond memories of the BLs on the 251 out of the original Edgware bus garage. As well as a few Sundays accompanying my brother to the garage to take photos of the EW BL fleet! (Really must get his archive online). Great work on the preservation, would be good to see some vids on that too,
Unfortunately most of the work on the BL was done before we started producing videos, however Im sure we will record any future work so watch this space...
Nice to see you guys working with FBHVC, Im a member of the HCVS so I can take my 1944 German built Ford V3000s 3 ton truck on the london to Brighton run. Sadly not this year though!
Yet again another entertaining video with superb production quality, I really do look forward to seeing these arrive in my subscriptions! Makes me want to get back to fixing my Mazda MX-5, slightly different scale I know....
So many memories of home flooded back when I saw RM2213 blinded as a 3. It would have run through Brixton in the years I lived there and being LT staff I went everywhere by public transport, and along with many passengers at the time would choose an RM operated route over an opo one. Probably travelled on that bus. I wonder if it ever ran on the 35 or other routes operated out of Walworth? Nice to see the buses out and about, the lodekka also resonated with me a little, the local operator where I spent much of my childhood had quite a number of *FM plated exCrosville buses in the fleet, the Lodekkas being an older model lacking the upper deck grilles
Surprised at how many "NEW" Buses are already being scrapped - especially the Electric ones. Of course - Living in Canada, we know that batteries are not good in the cold, (especially when it gets down to -40) and are basically useless after 3-4 years here - and new batteries often cost more than a whole new vehicle! Teslas are a SUMMER ONLY vehicle here!
I love vintage buses
That was brilliant who drove the Bristol Lodekka and it was to see Tim Driving the Bristol LH properly
Glyn was driving the Lodekka.
@@Routemaster4Hire Coolio noticed it when you mentioned about the Buses that was there.

Love the BL, it looks superb. I grew up with them on the 80 and 80A and have great memories of riding on them.

Hi Chris, glad to have brought back some memories.
Keep the livery on RM 2213. The white roundel looks so iconic on them.
Excellent presentations on the buses backgrounds by the owners. Thank you.
oooh they sound lush
Well would you believe it. You wait an hour for a bus and then 3 turn up at once 😆😆😆😆👍👍

Loved it as usual, your turning me into a right “bus wanker” Dave. 😂
LOL
Which town is this?
