I don't love every sew sampler box but I really love this one. As a long time subscriber I have a ton of notions so I really appreciate the little beauty products. I have that hand sanitizer already and I was kind of bummed that it was starting to run out so I was thrilled to get another. Isn't it awesome? Everyone who sees me use it wants one. I used that tool to clean my cutting mat tonight and afterwards went over it with a damp magic eraser. My mat is like brand new. I like the fabric. I like the pattern. I like the foundation papers and I can't wait to make this quilt as we have a new baby girl in the family and I think this will be perfect for her.
I do get this box, but I just like watching the unboxing’s. It’s nice to hear somebody else’s perspective on the notions and fabric. I saw Kimberly’s tutorial on the snail block. I love your tutorials better, I guess it resonates with my brain better. Thank you Becca for doing the tutorial on the flying geese block from the papers in our December box. (I think it was) Blessing’s from Texas!
Nice box! I think everyone is done with winter! I sure am -- now if we could just get rid of the snow ...... I'm not planning to try paper piecing, however this looks like a lovely pattern to practice on! I look forward to your "finish" when you have time to actually do it. Thank you for the video -- I always enjoy your unboxing.
I agree Alison, as a fellow Aussie I never thought I would be paying $30 per metre for fabric here but I do when I have to. If you ever get the chance to go to the Houston quilt show it is amazing, (unless you already have of course).
Oof! That's definitely pricey. The pack of layer squares in the US runs around $45-$50USD now. It looks like it'd be about $60+ USD for that same fabric in Australia!
My box arrived today, and I love everything in it! The fabric is so pretty and summery and in the loveliest colors! I can use and enjoy all the goodies! The beauty products will soothe my dry lips and skin while I create the beautiful quilt blocks and learn to paper piece!
If I had to pick one thing that I was just 'eh' about - *maybe* it would be the lip balm. I'm stoked about the hand cream!! Our skin seems to dry out when working with fabric!
I worked on bowl cozies yesterday. After I was done cutting all of the batting, my mat really needed cleaning...and that little gripper did a *GREAT* job cleaning up the fuzzy bits!
Hello! Another great video! I have had a day where I have been running around doing errands and didn't stitch all day so now I'm hand quilting and watching. I hope you have a joyful week ahead. Thank you for posting this video and your creativity.
I am loving the theme and the fabric. It is unusual and, I think, a nice change from the usual florals, etc. Side note: I have no idea how you keep up with all the projects you get! :)
It is a really cute pattern and love the fabric. I like the hand lotion for after sewing my hand become try from all the fabric I am using. Thanks for sharing your Sew Sampler Box today.
fun unboxing. i got my box delivered today. very happy with this box. i LOVE the finishing on the sunny side quilt. lately i have been very smitten with sherri and chelsea designs and podcast. not my style so probably wont rush into making the sea quilt, but still very happy with all items. excited to use the coupons. thanks again Becca.
Oh, that's right - they have a podcast! I should check them out! I love the fabric, and I think the snail trail block - while normally not my style - would look cute with the fabric
Thanks Becca! You encouraged me to get those last two recipe card PDFs for "The Bright Side" quilt! :D I have completed up through block #11 and will I also complete it when I find some time. Cheers!
I'm going to set aside some time on Sunday to catch up on these blocks because they're such quick & easy sews and that quilt is going to look AH-MAZ-ING when it's done!
I have not got my box yet, maybe today. This box looks great! I am really interested in trying out the snail trail block! The fabric is great! Great box!
I bought one of those hand sanitizer from Sew Yeah. I wish it was refillable. They need to figure out how to make them refillable. Because they are purse perfect!
Absolutely! HIGHLY recommend. :) If you are in the market, Sew Yeah Quilting sells these on their website for $999 (and I have an affiliate link, if you'd like to use it). If you have specific questions, feel free to email me and I'll help answer them the best I can! becca@sewbecca.com
You look wonderful Becca. Your hair looks very attractive and your blouse is beautiful. That print looks good on you.
Thank you so much

Sounds like this box was a big win for you! Congrats on the new addition to the family!
Lovely box! The project would make a great summer wall hanging. Be well

Awww, thanks for that. Maybe I'll do a tutorial on the snail trail block using the FPP paper they sent. :)

I also really loved this months fat quarter box.
Love this box, can’t wait to receive mine in Australia. This is one of the best boxes yet in my opinion. Also love your channel Becca. Thank you.
I can't believe how cheap everything is in the USA! A 40+ pack of 10" squares is over AUS$85. The cheapest fabric by the metre (yard) is $27.

Fun box! Love the silicone mat cleaner. Thanks for sharing.

I love that quilt pattern and fabric! Snail trail blocks look challenging, though. Thanks for sharing
You are very funny today 😂😂. Love that wipe out pattern. I liked the bloopers on the end 😂
Glad you enjoyed them! hahahaha!!

Lol 😂 Like your choice of words!! Clever
Thanks Becca! Time for you to take a trip to the beach soon.
It's getting closer - I'll be going in August!!
Got my box today. I'm really excited to make this little table topper for our motorhome. We spend the summer at the river so it will go nicely.
That sounds like a perfect match!!
Great review; great box. Thank you!
You are so welcome!

Thank you for watching, Rich!
A fabric lint roll cleans your mats easily too. Very easy to use.
Oooh, good tip!!

She sure did - I linked to that video in the first comment and in the little pop-up for the video!

Good evening. I used your link and tried to order.
Awesome!

Do you enjoy your Juki straight stitch?

How many of these do subscribe to?
Hi Loren - you can check out my subscriptions on my website: www.sewbecca.com
i cant watch it yet.
Make sure to come back when you get your box opened. :)
I just don’t know what I will make with this cute fabric. Not going to make that paper piecing.
If you're not going to make the pattern included in the box - what about doing something with a pattern that will showcase the pretty fabric?
I just don't like the handcream, lip bomb, or sanitizer. Seems like a waste. The rest of the box is great.
I can understand that. :) I love them, but figured they’d be a miss with some folks.
I love the beauty products! Sewing can really dry out your lips and skin, and the sanitizer case has cute quilt block pictures on it!
