- Welcome to... Remake Hell? @Glitch5970 made a new mod that actually simulated what can be done as close as the original Welcome to Hell mod can be. There are additional changes such as being given four different weapons to help you and that you can have what type of enemy would spawn more. So, me being me, I put Super Salvador to be the most common enemy. At the end, you do see me checking leaderboards because I accidentally submitted a score for HUNK. Whoops T_T. But it seems like it only affected my personal score and not the leaderboards. But why say that when you can't even tell who's legit? I don't know. But this mod definitely gave me a reason to actually play Remake Mercs again because going for high scores is an actual chore!!! Here, it isn't. If it's my fault that I died, then it's my fault. Enjoy! ^_^

I've played and beaten this mod a couple of times. There's a few things people need to be aware of.
The mod can bork Super Salvatore's weakness, as in, remove flash bang staggering and mp5 staggering. This is very important if you want to go back to vanilla mercs. I would constantly get killed in the Docks in the vanilla build as flash bangs never affected him anymore and I couldn't neck snap him. He also went max speed and playing anyone that doesn't have max running speed would be all but certain death.
Certain weapons would take quick to kill but other much less. I used infinite CQBR one time and Super Salvatore would stagger or slow when getting shot, allowing you to move out of the way. One time, that too just stopped and it made beating the modded level all but impossible.
Only Grenades seem to remain the item that can slow or stagger him. His health also increases a lot if you switch back to vanilla build. Uninstalling the mod sometimes fails to change this.
Also, this mod will throw random Salvatories on the roof and in random corners at the WORST time you're running away from the horde near the shack. I made my way around the barn house and instantly got killed by one that I didn't see around the corner until it was too late.
Don't get me wrong, this is a fun and challenging mod but be aware, if you encounter the above, you'll have to clean uninstall and re-install if this happens. It's the only thing I've found that restores this. Also, this does not seem to be an issue if you use this on Linux Mint. All of these are W11 related glitches caused by this mod.
One more thing, sometimes you'll get stuck at 90% load screen. Kill the program, uninstall mods, and re-read the game archives with the mod manager, and try again.
@humansvd3269 Noted. I think these issues still persist within the mod itself, even with a reinstall. Though, I don't know if Glitch would revisit this mod again, which he did for a quick update. I might give it a go again pretty soon to see them again. The enemies are also spawning based on the standard enemies, so you will get a cheap death if you happen to be unlucky. It happened to me once on a 150 combo attempt on the Dockside. >_

Even better, do it with Ashley over Luis AND use Ashley's slow run and animations. It's really hard. I got to 65 kills before I ran out of time.
