- G'day folks. This was shot a few weeks ago. If you know you know.
A hot day on the Minelab Manticore but ended up with a last hole banger.

Thanks for hunting out my UA-cam channel.
My name is Andrew, so why do they call me The Coffee Bush Kid? I may have found the odd gold coin or two in the middle of the coffee bush where others fear to tread.
Metal detecting in Central Victoria, Australia. Goldfields relics, treasures, and the odd Aussie critter.

Thanks for watching Rose. Was a nice little find 😁👍

Thanks for watching Dean. Hope you are well 😁👍
Great hunt Andrew, cheers Rob
Thanks for watching mate 😁👍
Hi Andrew , it does get a bit warm in the sun 😅 although it’s been a pretty mild wet summer.
Interesting array of buttons and relics , the bent token reminds me of the emblems they used to have on the front of old push bikes, they must have bent that around a piece of pipe or something cylindrical to get the curve 🤔👍🏻 🇦🇺
Gday William. Been shade hopping a bit but yes, we aren’t getting the 40+ degree days yet which is good. Happy with the finds. Guess we will never know why they bent the token that way but a bit of pipe is a good call for it to be bent over. Take care mate 😁👍
Very educational Andrew as now I know Newtons Fifth Law of Gravativity. You often come up with these little gems of knowledge which makes your videos a "must see" .No wonder some call you Professor. A good variety of finds plus the last hole banger was interesting with a question mark as to why the token ended up that way. Good stuff and catch you on the next one.👍
Gday Gary. Glad you enjoyed the lesson. It’s a handy tip that fifth law🤣🤣. It is very interesting as to why the token was shaped the way it was. We will never know. Thanks as always for coming along on the ride. Take care mate 😁👍
Superb reward for that day out! Well done, Andrew!
I did have fun. Thanks for watching Dug. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Oh Andrew that's a fair few buttons to add to you button horde. That token is interesting I wonder if it was put on a walking stick. Grew video good sir
Gday Gadzee. Good lot of interesting buttons. The token was great to find. Lots of theories going around as to why it is shaped like it is. Take care mate 😁👍
Great hunt shade hopping. Get a cool drink and enjoy the rest of the day. Curious bent token one could make up all sorts of stories of why they did it.
Gday Marta. There was lots of water had that day. Very happy to have found the token. It is certainly a talking piece. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Good hunt Andrew, it’s been really muggy then too hot actually, I’d much rather the dry heat than the hot and humid, great little peace with the finger print on it, that’s unique right there, take care mate ATB 👍
Gday Jim. Was very happy with that fragment. Very real bit of history. Humid is a bit hard to handle. You take care too mate 😁👍
Loved the video Andrew! Certainly knew it was your video I was watching 😆 WOW! @ not Harry Potters Finger print 😂😂 Awesome Finds!!! Look forward to your videos 😃😃
Gday Lee. Glad you can pick my vids. That sort of commentary just seems to flow out my mouth. Some use another term for it. Bovine related I think. Thanks for watching mate. Take care 😁👍
Glad you ended with a banger in the end CBK! 😊
Here that’s a bit rude but it did surprise me 🤣🤣🤣
Good work mate, another fun adventure!! Cheers
Gday Ant. Thanks for coming along. Take care mate 😁👍
So sunny there here in Kansas City Missouri USA its 39 degrees fahrenheit. Great finds stay safe out there and God Bless you my friend
Gday Terry. She was warm that day. Next Sunday it is supposed to be about 38c which is you 100f. Thanks for watching. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Hi CBK, great finds, and what would life be like without pies and the Aussie bush🤔🤔🤔I’d be sad🤣
😂that’s right. Thanks for watching. Take care mate 😁👍
Not much shade there mate. Very productive- full of rush bits and pieces
Was a bit hot there Guy. Did have to keep the fluids up. Happy with what I found 😁👍
Nice job, some lovely little buttons. Perhaps that token was the old way of rigging a game of heads or tails?😂😂😂
Gday Jeff. Perhaps it was. Easy betting once you were sure. Thanks for watching 😁👍
So much great information. And presented in such an enjoyable way. Thanks Andrew. Take care always mate and cheers 🍻 👍😁
Gday Camille. Glad you enjoyed watching. From one shade hopper to another. You take care too mate 😁👍
Brother what can i say brilliant brilliant job u legend hope your year is going well
Gday Terry. Thanks mate. It is going well and interestingly. Hope yours is too. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
You’re just like me Andrew……just can’t leave the field of battle until one more decent find comes up! Cracking LHB token, nice few bits & pieces but that finger print on that pot shard is a direct line back in time! Love it mate! Sorry for the slow watch, been a manic week. Take care pal
No worries about the reply Marcus. It was a good little spot there that gave up some interesting bits and pieces. Very happy with the token. The finger print was an amazing find. Does link you back to the past. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Another great adventure Professor. Loved all your finds again especially the finger print on the piece of pot and the token at the end. Always learn or see something different in your videos. Keep up the great work and see you on the next one. Cheers 👌👌👌👍👍👍🤜🤛
Gday Joe. The finger print was very cool and the token was a great last hole banger. Guess we will never know why it ended up that shape. Glad you enjoy the videos. Take care mate 😁👍
Hey guys, thanks for sharing the days adventure. Quite the musically button type day 😂 that token was a cool find, got the old mind ticking over now.
Gday Darren. Good lot of interesting buttons for sure. Very happy with the token. Thanks for coming along on the adventure. Take care mate 😁👍
What a nice area to go find some history
Got his or her finger print cool I thought it was a pipe bowl too lol lol
A Paris buckle and some buttons nice
I think the beaten token might have been destine to be a ring or toggle for a scarf ??
Nice day out with you Andrew I do hope to catch you up for a hunt on my way thru to WA
And the others too
Stay safe well and find those cool coins and relics mate
Cheers 🍻
CrouchOz
Gday Crouch. It is a nice little spot there and full of history. The finger print was a very cool find. I did think scarf toggle too when I figured out what it was.
Yes would be good to catch up again. Give us a hoy when you are going to come through. Take care cobber 😁👍
I have enough trouble remembering what day it is already Andrew, Don't confuse me more than I already am! I did watch this last night, but I had a very busy day, and I was a tired little boy, The last thing I did was watch this hunt. There being no harmonicas amongst the squeeze box reed plates or similar instruments, Obviously! They have there own breeding grounds, and never there paths do cross. Or it could have been snobbery, "We do not play amongst lower classes instruments! Hmmph! The very thought"...The Token was interesting, for some reason I saw it attached to the top of a curved handled cane, as a decoration, But who knows! But I liked it! Anyway my brain is still on slow Mo, so I'll leave it there an say Chow. But I'm pretty sure I'll drop in again, Saturday you say! 6.30! I'll keep it in mind! Cheers, I mean Chow!
Gday Wayne. That was an interesting observation. No harmonica reeds. I didn’t twig to that myself. You might have a good theory there. You should get in touch with Sir David. Who knows what the purpose of the token was but a bit of work went into it. Be good if you dropped by again. Catch you then. Take care mate 😁👍
Lovely meeting you today. Told you I'd subscribe. Good luck :)
Haha. Thanks for that Stella. Nice to meet you too 😁👍
Great video Viv. Life can be challenging sometimes can't it? Andrew, it surprises me that the few guys I watch on youtube, .none of you ever come across a spout off a water bag. Do you know what they look like? I am guessing that it is because they could be mistaken for the top off a bottle. Water bags were still quite common when I was working in the outback in the late 60's early 70's. Due to the fact that the rest of the bag would have rotted away there should be 100's of these things every where. By the way, personally I would prefer to be out in rhe heat than the cold. Cheers John
Gday John. Life can be challenging. Can’t say outright that I know what one looks like. Have found quite a few stoppers out of hot water bottles. I would prefer the cooler weather. Don’t do high temperatures but we are all different. Take care mate 😁👍
@TheCoffeeBushKid Water bag spouts look like the top 32 - 40 mm off a bottle and made of white glass or porcelain. Thet were tied onto a top corner of the with twine. When the bag had water in it the bag would swell slightly and this seal it so there were no leaks. A very effective way to have cool water. Cheers John
Cool. Will keep my eyes open 😁👍
I read somewhere many years ago that miners used to use copper coins as bearings for their windlass. You should see some wear inside the coin/token. True or not i don't know but i have found some english penny's like that.
Gday George. That is not a bad theory. The inside is all worn. And the shape of the bend would nearly be right for a shaft diameter. Thanks for the comment 😁👍
Luxury...we had ta walk bare foot ta school and took 25 hours ta get there and tha road was made of lego...but no having ta lick road...utter luxury
🤣😂 thanks for watching Karl 😁👍
Remember to always fill in your holes and leave with a banger!
😁 That’s the way to do it MB7 😁👍
G'day CBK! Another great vid mate. Just a quick question, How is the Victorian Heritage Act affecting you? Have you been contacted by VH?
Gday Tim. Thanks for watching. It’s a bit of a worry and I haven’t been contacted. Take care mate 😁👍
PLEASE BROTHER WHERE SOME NITRATE GLOVES SO YOU DON'T GET LEAD POISONING OK ? God bless you and keep up the good work 👍✝️✌️
Maybe as a lil pick bling or something like that?
Maybe 😁👍
Can you do a video on the minelab xterra pro can it find gold in dunolly or tarnagulla or talbot and whats the best for gold settings i just bought one. Thanks Matthew
Gday Matthew. First things first, the Xterra pro is not a gold machine. It was made as a coin and relic machine. You can find gold if it was big and close to the surface. Not saying it is impossible but these sorts of nuggets are getting harder to find.
Having said all that we tested it in the shop yesterday and you would put the machine in 15khz and have the sensitivity as high as the ground will allow it without it being chirpy. Ground mineralization will affect its performance too. We could only get it to pick up a 6 gram nugget with an air test at just under 2 inches.
Probably not what you wanted to hear but an honest answer. Good luck with it all 😁👍
Erets Tov dear Coffee Bush.
Are you Amish.😅
No I’m not Glen. Just a hay fever sufferer 😁👍
Great News , after 8 years, I just shaved my Olde One off, and am growing a New Variety, hoping its got some colour it it this time.
It shocked my wife, she didn't know who I was.
Yeehaaw.
