Diana was in her 30’s when she died. Today she would be 25 or so years older. Camilla is in her 70’s. You are comparing apples to oranges and really, your comment is short sighted. Diana and Charles divorced. She was not going to wear these jewels unless as the King mother which would have made her even older. Camilla does not seem the type to be comfortable in jewels but is forced to as is her current station. It’s time to accept what is and let go of what was.
It wasn’t to be and there is no point wondering how Diana might have looked. Camilla actually looks great in them and carries them off well.

I wish I could forgive her. She was a married woman committing adultery- for years- with a married man and more or less completely sabotaged the marriage from the very beginning. Adultery isn't a criminal offence, just a moral and ethical one, but you know, she told Charles he could manage the mouse that was Diana Spencer. Both Charles and Camilla completely misread Diana or read in her what they wanted to see. Not the real person at all. I'm not saying that the marriage between Diana and Charles would have worked without both of them doing a lot of work on themselves and working very hard on being married. But I don't think Charles really wanted to make it work. Camilla was always there- compliant, willing, catering to his vices and weaknesses, and not supporting or helping him to make it work with Diana. I don't believe that a person should be forever defined by their mistakes, I don't think either party learned anything from the experience of the painful messy and public divorce. They didn't have to, like regular people would. Their mistakes get decorated with lots of diamonds and gold.
