Guys we had 72% ball possession, completed 609 passes, had 10 shots at goal, 6 on target of which two resulted into goals. We limited them to 3 shorts on target. For me this game reassured me Sundowns is still Sundowns & will continue to kill. I don't see much difference in terms of style of play except we take less risks at the back and we attack a bit quicker. Otherwise it's the same Sundowns with more speed this time.
These guys just wanna entertainment and Rhulani and Monqoba will never be the same. We just have to get over it... These comparisons will just divide the fans.
I was one of the fans that criticized our MTN8 way we played and I am not sorry about it because I know how Sundowns play. Any team whether it's Chiefs or Pirates fans or any other supporters of a certain team. As supporters we might not have played football on a highest level but some knows football and if their team is not performing the way is supposed to have rights to voice their opinions and remember when we sitting on the stands we have better view than a person on the ground. But I am glad our coach realised what we were seeing. The sytem we played was leaving gaps all over and our players couldn't find each other were to scattered playing plain old type 433 we were over powered everywhere Tebza alone at number6 wingbacks all going up central defense stretched on counters as they had to even cover wingbacks that was bad. Schemes and pattern for this past two games it's more similar to how we played last season. Last season we used wing backs tagging in to form a box like diffense and overloading central midfield and also allow our central diffense pairing to stretch a little to allow Ronwen to initiate our passing schemes On this system we use central diffense pairing to form that box like diffense and allow our wings freedom to attack and utilize wing play to vary our attack whilst also going through the middle if there are holes with little bid of speed. And honestly that's good because with Rhulani he was always enforcing going through traffic no wing play. I commend Manqoba for adding wing play to attack as that keeps diffense in their six and sevens we were too predictable towards the end last year and to play without turning opponents diffense was really making it hard for us to score towards the end and smart defenders or coach were confortable to watch us play in front of them. With Ratings I will give everyone 9 a will take one for 1st half performance coach 9.5 for well sabstitution and reading the game leading to subs. Plus his psychological pressure he applied to Supersport by playing Ribeiro, Shalulile, and Rainers to force opponents to worry about diffending whilst it gives room to Midfielders and diffense to find their passing ranges that was good. All in all good performances Rivaldo reminds me of Man city Rodri a nevigator of half spaces, accurate simple passes that are very deadly and excellent reader of the game he doesn't play hard he plays smart and lot of people are not even aware he is the one that makes the current team play. He is a deadly quite poison that one linking diffense to Midfielders or attack with one simple calculated pass.

Good program gents. Perfect master piece from the coaches. Our coach had to start the game with the same mentality as SSU playing style. Their counters were minimized by our intent to play counter attacks hence they played cautiously. Second stanza of the game was just to checkmate them. We have never dominated Gavin Hunt like we did.
Khuliso is the best at RB but his final ball is weak and thats where Thapelo excel, Morena is the best RWB in this country. Our biggest failer as a club, is the ability to get Zwane replacement, in so many windows, I thought Kapinga was gonna be the one but he failed as well, clearly we need to go outside the country ngoba its gonna be sad if this is not achieved soon
