- My son and I watched the Victory Day military parade in Khabarovsk, Russia. We only watched the parade of military equipment and not the speeches or marching soldiers.
Amazing and fascinating machines
@8:27 - Was that a WW2 T-34 Tank ? - impressive to see living history !
Yes, that was a T-34 tank.
Followed by an IS-3, same age.
Actually, all modern tech used in the war as well already is living history
More vehicles here than in Moscow!
They did not want a potential terror attack on their equipment in Moscow.
👍👍👍
The victory against the Nazis involved a lot of death, but the invasion of Manchuria was relatively successful.
Bigger than Moscow's 💀
I have only watched 2 Victory Day military parades in Khabarovsk. I only moved to Khabarovsk 2 years ago. Last year, it seemed that the Victory Day military parade was smaller than this year's parade.
@@canadianlivinginrussia3237 but still, Moscow only got one t-34 (not even an armata or T-55), meanwhile the far east gets +-5 T-72 2s, 1 T-34 M, 1 IS-3, 1 ISU-152 and more, seems like if shit goes south, the Russian far east elites will likely to push for secession.
@@PedroCosta-po5nu That is called wishful thinking. The Russian Far East has no thoughts of secession from Moscow. By the way, which "elites" are you referring to?
@@canadianlivinginrussia3237 Local government officials which might calculate that sessecion to save their public image might be a better move than continuing with the federal government, or at least that's what I think as a south American, because I'm Shure ours would do it.
@@PedroCosta-po5nu You might want to examine this issue a bit closer. Local government officials are working with Moscow closer than ever. The Russian economy is booming and Moscow is working together with local officials in building and strengthening local infrastructure in the Russian Far East.
👍🏻
The nearest unit I think is the 57th Guards MR Brigade of the 5th Army, still 200+ km away.
Perhaps you may want to look at your map again. Khabarovsk is more then 8,000 km away from Ukraine.
@@canadianlivinginrussia3237 57th Motor Rifle Brigade, based at the southern part of Bikin, part of the 5th Combined Arms Army (Ussuriysk), Eastern Military District. According to my map Bikin is 220 km from Khabarovsk.
What brought Ukraine up?
@@imrekalman9044 You make a good point. Alluding to your words, "still 200+ km away", it's suggested that you were referring to the distance between the armor in the parade and front line in Ukraine. Thank you for the clarification.
Yes, I believe it was the 3rd tank that was being loaded.
IS-3
I don't know. I am not a mechanic.
Thank you.
I live in New Zealand always wanted to move to Russia since age of 15 😂
That's great to hear. Follow your dreams and see where they will lead you. 😃

Hope you gave up your Canadian Citizenship. No need for it anymore.
I still retain my Canadian Citizenship.
Yeah, only literal Nazis are greeted in Canada, like that Ukrainian SS member getting applauded in Canadian parliament.
🇺🇦👍🇰🇿🙏
Two weeks ago I posted my interview. In the video, I explain how I ended up in Khabarovsk. This is the link. ua-cam.com/video/xT3WyNBBEAA/v-deo.html
@@anatolyblyudenov1987 I respect your opinion however I disagree with your statement that Khabarovsk is declining. If I had to count the amount of construction cranes there are in this city right now, I believe that number would be at least 50 cranes. In addition, I do not see any empty commercial buildings or businesses closing. Can you elaborate on why you think Khabarovsk has declined in the past 2-3 years?
Yes, my channel is based primarily on English language. The main focus of my videos is to show what life is like in Russia, through the eyes of a Canadian. I can speak the Russian language but will continue to post my video content in the English language.
In 1945 Russians fighted against facists in Germany. Now Ukraine are figthing against facists in Russia
So, as a Danish man, can you tell me how Russia and Germany can be grouped together as Fascists?
Who is the enemy?
@@canadianlivinginrussia3237 Do not pay attention. He is not from Russia, but from a neighboring unfriendly country, this can be seen from his subscriptions. Once again it confirms that Nazism is thriving in their country.
@@sergeyshaolin-g9792 Do you realize what you are saying? I am not Russian, nor am I Ukrainian. I am a Canadian. I moved to Russia to live peacefully with my family. My video was not intended to slander either Russia or Ukraine. Please leave your political and hostile views out of the comments.
