It took me all these years to realise that this song is actually a synopsis of the whole film. Karthik pursues Jessi. Jessi takes time to agree but then they date ( that little segment where they dance together in the song). And they break apart (which Jessi initiates as in the song also). Then again they get together in the end (In the song Karthik is seen going on a bike symbolic to him traveling to New York in the movie and Jessi is seen waiting not knowing what or who she is waiting for as in the movie). Wow.

Some words are similar and the relation is obvious but they're are entirely different.(I listened to Bengali just now, and the relationship between Telugu and Malayalam is very far. knowing Hindi I atleast understood many bengali words. Knowing Telugu I do not understand much of Malayalam' just here and there')No they are not similar in that way as a conclusion.(South languages are farther than they seem to appear)

@Bhanu Khanal No. If you know standard Telugu it is very easy to understand. But Telangana dialect has a huge influence of Urdu and Hindi to it. My friend from Andhra did not understand Telangana dialect in the beginning. Many people understand all the dialects.
