Much respect but I beg to differ. Diana is now in mass production which will lead to a reduction in retail price. Hare Technology released a friction fit quick release holster that is capable of starting or disabling Hot shot mode. Brushless motors operated at high temperatures normally, It has built-in fail-safes for the motors and batterie. The proprietary mag and accessories are superior to nightingales and can be easily modified with kits from Etsy. Performs well on 3S or 4S FPS is consistent. I've abused my Diana's for a month now with no issues. She's a pocket Pew Pew.
Thank you for your input! This makes me excited to run this blaster in future events. I believe its going to have permanent residence in my loadout bag.
I really hate the look of the pew pew to be honest. The diana on the other hand looks awesome, and could be made to look like the titanfall smart pistol with a paint job and 3d printed front part.
I kinda wish the three shot pistol (forgot the name it's been years since I played tf2 but had the most fun out of any online shooter) that was overpowered for a whole while would exist in real life haha
It’s the opposite for me. I think the Diana looks really goofy and way too short, especially with a body kit. I think the Pew Pew looks awesome though.
@@thex6992the Mozambique is what I believe you’re talking about. Yea super fun gun, so good in fact that both the wingman elite and the mozam were moved to the primary slot
Aren't the metal parts on the outside meant to act as heat sinks, which draws heat away from the motors, which is why they get hot. It seems like they are doing exactly what they are designed to do
Excellent video! I’m certain brushless is the future. I just can’t drop 3 bills on a blaster. I’m lucky if I can spend 2 bills. I just hope that the tech gets cheaper over time. I’m considering upgrading a blaster to brushless just to be able to afford one.
I have just picked up a diana, i found a video of somebody who was lubricating the flywheel bearings with high speed bearing lubricant, is the necessary ? I would love to see a video on how to maintain flywheel blasters as there isnt much info out there on how or why
RedCowl has s jig on printables to make nightingale mags work. I love my diana so much i now have 2... Haha. Just wish that the holster for it came in left handed so i could have one on each leg. The holster for it is amazing.
Its more the other way round. Flywheel mechanism are much simpler and therefore making the size of Diana while AEB is no way able to make a workable size pistol like Diana. The smallest AEB nerf currently is QWK which size is more of a sub machine gun. Plus the rate of fire of flywheel is far superb to anything AEB can throw at. The biggest drawback of flywheel which is the rev noise is perfectly eliminated by motor brake and slow rev mode. I will say flywheel is the future and no AEB. I have handled AEB before there is still recoil when in semi or auto mode. While there is virtually no recoil when using flywheel even in full auto making them very accurate.
@@zenden9 ohh one of em flywheels are acurate, well if you choose everything correctly then yeah they can be pretty acurate, but any aeb will be miles more acurate
@@frogsbutfrogs I wouldn't say miles ahead. Have u try worker phoenix 2.0 with mosef and nightingale? They are out of box without mod. And the accuracy can be comparable to some of my springer. No joke! The only drawback is the fps is around 150-160 fps for phoenix and 110 fps for nightingale. Which is kinder low for me. I have springer and AEB going at 220 fps. It will be good if worker is able to push their phoenix flywheel to 180-190 fps.
Hey dr flux, do you ever go and take all these high fps blaster to tournaments or battles? And If and when you do, are there different like blaster classes that you can only use stock blasters or 3d printed and high fps only?
As far as the rumor mill goes he doesn't really play in any actual events Besides a small local event every now and then. I still watch him though because his content is so much more diverse than anyone other nerf tuber
I and my team go to events when we can. As for the other part of your question, it really just depends on where you are and who you play with. Usually game types have certain restrictions you have to meet to keep things fun and interesting. Thanks for the comment!
Man, such a nice blaster, one I will never be able to buy as long as I have a wife 😂! Can you buy the mags separately? 150 is pretty good for such a small blaster. That’s pretty accurate. Please don’t ever drop your Pew Pew, all of us in the hobby would cringe! One thing to point out, yes these blasters are the next level, most of us won’t get to there due to cost. Hey you got the Nightingale mag to work, nice!
coming straight from airsoft, I don't understand any of this... me personally, just get an airsoft gun 10x better, but hey do what you do ig, he said it better 11:31
I guess you still dont understand why people play nerf in USA.... Can you play airsoft like holding a glock 17 in public park?. No you cant, nerf blaster can... Young and old are all welcome.
Brushless will be the king for fire rate. However, I think AEBs are the future if we can get a durable, reliable, ~12 dps blaster that is relatively hobby friendly (IE standardized and replacable boards, motors, parts, etc) would really become the standard.

The Diana reminds me of the KAP-40 from Black Ops 2.

I dropped it from table height once, and also smashed it against a wall during CQB. Still works like a charm. 😂

I think you can modify Nightengale magazines to use in this blaster
Yes you can! We will be addressing this in the very near future 🙂

me opening my drill up and taking out the motor for my next stryfe mod
its used fiber nylon same as really firearms(except Clear ver its PC uppon body)
Lower shell is Nylon while upper shell is PC. Be careful not to over tighthen the side and back screws as it can crack the PC shell
