You are amazing - what a brilliant tutorial. I’ve tried loose painting before, and it was a disaster so never tried again. But now you’ve given us this, I’m going to give it another go, following your tutorial closely. Thank you! You are very generous.

A key element is the Stonehenge paper remember, and nonstaining paints!!

Great tutorial. I see a lot of Christmas tree tutorials at this time of year. I loved this one. I’m giving it a try. I don’t think it even needed the line work ❤

    Love your tree 🎄
I'm impressed with the length of time it stayed wet. I've noticed how quickly hot press Meeden dries. I do like hot press for the precision of edges. I'm working on a Christmas Holly and had to push on to get the correct values.

@rachelparkervarner I'll finish the pine branches and get to the free patreon. Showed it to my mom half finished and she said "that's nice honey." 😅 Now no one sees half finished art.

@connied8507 a lot of the times when I made a sale back in the day, my artist mom would say "people will buy anything" 😭🤣😭🤣

You do not suck..😊 .. I know what you mean about under painting. I lhand wash the perfume out of packaged hand wipes , for scrubbing and blotting., as the fibres are solidly woven.

I'm not like most people. I'm sticking around, but I already know your work. I'm curious about the reason to go with hot press paper.

This paper lifts really easily with a soft acrylic brush, better than any paper I know, for lifting out small lights
