I am always amazed at what you in the UK consider a cottage!!! I would love to have a place with so much room. That bathroom is bigger than my living room. A stunning find!!!
What a shame a lovely house like this has been left abandoned and with so many valuable contents. This was incredible, but very enjoyable to watch. Big respect for giving the butterflies their freedom.
It's possible someone is going to come back for the valuable things, as the rest of the house has been cleared. It doesn't make sense to clear out the perishables & clothes etc but leave the valuables... Plus the power is still on. One pic was wrapped in bubble wrap so they may have possibly started preparing for these to be moved out. It is one beautiful home, thank you for showing us around.
That house is a little gem housing some lovely antiques. I bet those cash machines are worth something. Loved the bathroom. Thanks for sharing Alex xxxx
I absolutely love this house. It’s just uniquely fabulous 😍 there’s so much scope for it but it’s such a shame about the mould and that hugeeeee crack. Great explore guys ❤️
What a quirky place. That TV is a nice one from the late 70s, wooden cabinet and all. My favourites are the pre decimalisation tills, before the days of cards, when we still used Pounds,Shillings and pence. That was nice of you to release the butterflies, peacock's they were, probably pupated on the garden furniture and then hatched out.👍
Hi Alex & Steve, what a cool place, I love those cash registers, they date back to the time of the tv show Open all Hours, Arkwright's till lol. One question, at 17:53 you can see the bidet in the the mirror is pink but the actual one looks white ?????. Another awesome explore, thank you for sharing, much love. xx 🥰
Cool little explore. The picture in the mirror was weird and completely random! Thank you guys for showing us around this amazing 70's style house. The house just needs a color rework and I'd live there.
Absolutely Awesome!! I love it! Thank you so very much for sharing. Y'all have way cooler structures to explore, plus actual antiques over there across the pond. If it wasn't for guys like y'all, I'd never get to see these places, so thank you once again for taking us along with you on your adventures. Much love and many prayers for you and yours. Stay safe out there. See y'all next time.
I would say the person that lived there was Buying and selling on line or going to markets to sell. Saw the pile of card board material, probably boxes 📦 to fold. All the carpet remnants this person laid carpet for a living.
There is definitely something very Porn with this house ! This channel is by far the best regarding the exploration of abandoned places.. This place is simply beautiful
What a fantastic explore - well found! I just love the quirky design of the house with its rooflines and blue paint. They clearly spent money on the interior - though somewhat dated now the quality is evident. Steve played the hero in this one - freeing butterflies and moving those cash registers 💪💪 Really lovely video - thanks 👍👍
That’s a huge ol’ crack😂 Well done saving the butterfly’s 🦋 Steve, that’s why the ladies love you mate! 😀Cool explore guys! Those till’s and the table n stools were awesome. 😎👍
I just came across your channel and I had to comment on how charming this cottage was! I loved the antique cash registers and the clock upstairs. There was so much to see in such a small house. But I have to admit my favorite was the bathroom! It was something I would have never put together (could never have dreamed it up) but there is not much I would change. I would def make all the hard fixtures pink like the sink! I've always like rooms that are "sunken" in, so that adds to the charm. And for a small cottage the staircase was nice. I really liked the layout of the ground floor, it looked cozy. Thank you guys for sharing this. Take care, stay safe & God Bless! xoxo 💕Kat
Thanks for this comment Kat! Really glad you enjoyed that explore, such a unique, quirky little place. Amazes me how things like this get left. Loved your description of the place 😁👍
How random. this house is about 200metres from me so was great to see inside as i go past often. Behind it is a very large house that dates back to 1870 and was up for sale at £15million a few years ago but never sold. The owners of that house own the land that this house is on and have planning permission to knock down and rebuild - that was granted around 2020. They actually tried to keep the original building and update but they kept getting their planning permission requests refused. I can only assume that this house originally was staff quarters as the larger house behind was used by the Royal Family at one point.
Awesome find, I didn't realize that National Cash register also built registers for over seas, they were originally built in Dayton Ohio. Also those Bell and Howell speakers were film projectors. Just awesomeness!
@@VacantHaven I was surprised you didn't open one !! My dad went through several of those, very much into the reel to reel in those days. My dad also had a National Register. It got left behind with a home he bought. The old owners didn't fancy moving it...wonder why ??!! that was in Canada
I found your channel tonight. This is a great video. I can't wait to explore all of the videos on your channel. I am from Southern California in the USA.
What an adorable cottage I love the arches,,wow antique cash registers ,,well it was funny the video of the guy trying to fit through the window ,,but his rump wouldn't go ,,😂 so happy house exploring stay safe
I really enjoyed your tour. The outside of the house looked to small to me to see all the room inside. Thank you!! P.S. I hope you put everything back the way you found it.
This house is awesome i could definitely live there in a heartbeat. Wish i could go back in time and be there even for 24 hours to see what the family were like and the ambience of the place . Cool explore guy's.Loved the bathroom and the sunken bath.I actually liked the pink bathroom it was warm and welcoming i thought.
What a pretty house. That's the kind of place that would be fun to restore, minus all the pink in the bathroom, though. My breath caught when Exploring Within guy was seeing if he could fit through the window. I'm surprised he didn't hear me yelling "Don't do it!" all the way from the U.S.A. 😉😄 Thanks for another excellent explore!
Haha yeah that was a bit sketchy that window! And yeah beautiful little cottage that would be an awesome place to do up, right in the countryside, perfect!
Lush house i love it and the tv came out early 1970 its the first colour tv I ever owned it was a tv or holiday abroad we had the tv instead I was wishing we had gone abroad instead because we only had the tv a week and got broken into and they stole it and my purse happened to be on top of the tv so my money was gone as well 😢 that orange light you switched on that didn't work was heat and light when it worked I remember having one of those loved the aromatherapy bath and the style of the bathroom but not so much the colour but it was in fashion in the 1970 great find both.
What a nice place to explore . The upstairs bathroom was a stunner with the sunken tub and a nice shower , makes you wonder why it was left the way it was , Odd ?? ,Stuart in Canada ..
I would imagine someone somewhere still owns this house, or has a claim on this property, especially with the electricity still working and also the place looks quite clean, also these old tills are starting to get some decent money these days.
Very american looking tv. We used to see them in the American Airbase kids houses when i was little. Cash reg in Pounds shillings and pence. Awwww memories lol. Tremendous american vibe there. Bendy toys. Very 60s. Expensive in those days too. Bit of subsidence perhaps Yuk garish bathroom! Loud! Straight into the mouth of a passing bird. Bye bye butterfly!! Murderer🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 Very interesting. Alex, you and Steve did that place proud. Respect!! Take care ‘til next time Enjoyed very much. Thank you both Alex and Exploring Within 🤗😁💜
Yeah definitely getting American vibes as well Nanny. Also some Indian thrown in! With you on that bathroom, it's very in your face, but awesome to come across! Thanks for your kind words and support as always 😁👍👍👍
This has to be in the TOP TERE of exploration and as for personalities the two of YOU are UP there too ! That quote from the exorcist was hilarious …. I’m pretty sure I will be watching THIS ONE AGAIN ! But no indication of when it was abandoned ( I Beto heard you say they died ) and NO photos either…. It would have been SUPER GOOD if there was sOmE research on this property and it’s last inhabitants
National Cash Register made those cash registers, they are now known as NCR - which still makes payment transaction equipment & software. It's always cool what you can come across in abandoned places.
Witch make of tripods do you and Steve yuse to film???,I am martin from Belgium and I love your explores, I would love alsow to start with urban exploring, because I love and like all the history and find that must be saved on films if nobody collect the stuff from the family.
Great explore, guys. I was very moved when you carefully let those gorgeous butterflies out and gave them their freedom. Thanks, guys.
No worries, glad you enjoyed that one 🦋👍
I am always amazed at what you in the UK consider a cottage!!! I would love to have a place with so much room. That bathroom is bigger than my living room. A stunning find!!!
Lol thanks Maureen 😊
Actually most homes in the U.K. are pretty small. A lot of homes built in the last 10 years are 40% smaller then places built in the 1950s.
I think those are film projectors rather than amps'. Which will be why they are so heavy.
In the us they've gone in the opposite direction and have INCREASED the size of homes since the 50s ( while have LESS offspring ) !
What a shame a lovely house like this has been left abandoned and with so many valuable contents. This was incredible, but very enjoyable to watch. Big respect for giving the butterflies their freedom.

The mirror in the bathroom mirror was kinda rose gold or maybe coppery?
It gives the effect of a tinted image. Cheers as always for commenting Sue 👍

Thanks mate, yeah they are original Ohio tills, mid 1800s! Did a bit of research and turns out they're very valuable. Thanks as always 👍👍

OK Andrew I'll go back and check that, thanks 😬😬
