I've been waiting for someone to do this kind of musical act, where the artist plays a bunch of different instruments while singing. She's definitely a musical artist to pull this off, well done!
I don't think people realize how hard this is. Moving around like that and singing at the same time can be exhausting and affects your vocals which requires proper breathing. Mad respect for this young lady. She's going places regardless of what others think! Rock on sister! 💪🏽👏🏽♥️

Exactly, all about breathing, that is why doing stage musicals are so hard and takes lots of training. Just singing power rock songs is hard enough. While she has told me that she has had a voice teacher, I don't think running from instrument to instrument while singing rock was covered in depth.
You will go far in your career. You have the charisma and talent in spades.

I've been watching Mia's videos on YT for a number of years and she is incredibly talented. She plays multiple instruments really well. She writes her own songs. And though she isn't a Carrie Underwood vocally, she also sings certain styles really well. And she also comes across as extremely intelligent. I think she has a bright future in music regardless of where she finishes in this competition.
This is 100 percent true. I hope she gets a vocal coach though cause if she could sing really well along with everything else, she would definitely make it far

So I don't get the Judges. Howie says that she should have done a song that's already a hit. After Simon says in her audition, that he " would rather listen to someone like her who is original and talented rather than someone who comes with some horrible backing track and sings a song I heard a million times. This year it's all about originality. " I think she just did what Simon said he liked. I liked her performance playing multiple instruments in a short time frame you can only showcase so much. However, I was expecting a quick change or even the replications of her in the background to look like the ones on her channel " Mia Morris - Meet The Band / Mockumentary " I hope she gets through, if not she could definitely do feature gigs. I would buy tickets.

Remember that, in our culture, only one person gets the most votes. So to win, one must use proven tactics. But artistry is not about the most votes. This person is a unique, talented, creative artist. Like so many before (Joplin, James Brown, Dylan) she has a unique style which is much more important than pleasing the "common" good. I will never forget this woman.

I think she did a great job! The song is perfect for today's adolescent and young adults, it's catchy, and the very beginning drum beat seemed a little off normal rythum, but once the guitar bass and singing joined in, it's a really good song, and she Does have a really good voice, it wasva little low in some spots probably due to the running. She is an overall great talent!

As a musician myself...I'm really hoping Mia, goes all the way in this competition. It's nice to see a young person playing real instruments. Not only that, she's incorporating a looper...so she can be a one woman band. Although, for time constraints of a prerecorded show...I feel that some of the loops (from the loop pedal) are already being triggered by the the production team of the show. Usually, with loopers...you have to stay right on top of them. So you can start and stop a loop section. I don't see how this is possible, when you're all over the stage. But for the most part, the audience doesn't know that, so these short cuts can be gotten away with. Still...this doesn't mean that Mia, isn't performing live. In my observation, I feel some of the loops are remotely triggered. But at the end of the day, a lot of bands nowadays are doing the same thing. I have to agree with, Simon. This second performance was great, but the song was not. Vocals were very pitchy. This is AGT...so you want things to be perfect. Although that's easier said than done...it's what creates champions. Mia, definitely has the talent. I wish her all of the best. 🤟🎸🎵🎶
The Morningstar MIDI Controller that she uses is programmable. The patterns and speed can be preset.

She definitely has better songs. Personally I think she should have sung an uncensored version of FU2 lol. I don't think she'll make it, but AGT doesn't really seem like her stage anyways....
I agree with Simon. Low parts in the vocals took away a lot of energy. Minor chord on guitar in the pre chorus was like is this a wrong note? Then the brightness showed in the chorus which was catchy. Talented gal none the less.
Now I like that she played all those instruments and make it like a full concert, but I will state that I hated that song she did!

One thing I’ve realized in many, many, many years of watching Simon judge artists is that Simon doesn’t have a good taste in music.

The act was great.. Singing,guitar,bass & drumming very average....but hey she gave her talent without fear

I didn't get it really all she did was just play a guitar and drums what she should have done is broke out keyboards a trombone a trumpet that's multi instruments
It looked like she played a ukulele too. Not clear if she wanted to demonstrate some of the many instruments she plays, but I think she would have had a better performance playing one instrument and backed by a rock band.

Someone who is a 10 in a certain famous talent will make millions even if he is a 0 in everything else in life . On the other hand someone who gets a 5 on every aspect of life will never make it far. She is the 2nd someone and will always be a gimmick nothing more nothing less.

I really like her a lot , but this song (vocals )sounded really badly off key ) throughout the song ..not sure if she can’t sing that well or if it was intentionally suppose to be punkishly off key chorus ..either way it kinda sounded aweful but originality will always go further than someone that covers someone else’s song ..
This sounded like a Hot mess. A bunch of wannabes kids practicing in a garage trying to rehearse before a gig over the weekend.
Out of tune... Girl, take care.... You are a very good multi player... But you make a lot of dissonances....in case this is your purpose, you may call the song "out of tune" and in will be great.. If it is the looping fault, then you have now evented the detuned - rock or looping - rock....
Get a job! Nothing marketable with her concept, will not sell albums and won't sell tickets for concerts. Definitely no market for this!
Have you not ever heard of Avril Lavigne, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Blink-182 or any of the other punk rock bands/artists out there? In your defense, they were more popular in the 2000s and early 2010s, but there still is a market. A rather large one, honestly. She could fit right in. Tell me, what makes you such an expert, Mr. Stokes?

This performance, performer is among the many examples on AGT, BGT in which Simon and /or Howie [directed by Simon], this one combined] to contradict their own audition specific comments with originality, Simon with an obvious internal self-contradiction similar with his audition comments [this time reversed to dislike], along with opposite to the massive crowd response, enjoyment, appreciation, ovation [Simon has stated many times he thus listens to them - clearly when he chooses, with his personal bias, intents, purposes].
Mia Morris, as We know, though still 17 y/o then, has been involved with professionals, tours, etc. for 5 years, along with many original compositions, videos, mulit-talented, multi-instrument musician, high level execution, appreciation among musicians, performers, etc., weekly participation in Nashville, etc.
This exposure, just during the audition and Live shows will certainly be useful, helpful, beneficial as for many others which appeared, and will continue to be among the many Great musicians, performers, along her path she chooses. Mia Morris no longer needs anything more from Simon, his GT series, etc.
As the Crowd, along with Sofia, Heidi explicitly were impressed, enjoyed, appreciated, were moved, excited, with massive applaud ! Clearly You must have felt Great and should still ! 🙂

was particularly disappointed with Simon and Howie with these specific comments, denial, refusal of the obvious Crowd reactions, though expected they will become negative a t some point, round, but figured, especially based upon the audition, comments, they would promote You through QF at lest, perhaps SF. These comments are clearly, obviously certainly "staged", thus indicates their lacking, loss, not Yours.
