I had the pleasure/ privilege of growing up near Sharon Speedway in the 60’s and 70’s watching guys like Lou Blaney, Buddy Cochran, Ralph Quarterson and many others. To me there is no other form of racing worth spending my money on. The men driving these machines are so incredibly talented having the reflexes of a cat and the touch of a neurosurgeon. Greatest show on dirt!
Wow...what a romantic treatment of a violent aggressive exciting form of racing....absolutely one of Loudpedal's best! So human...so mechanical in the synthesis. Real video art. Great job....what else can I say?
Thanks to whoever made this video. The music and the video reminds me of what church would be like for a room full of Sprint Car Racers... Very Reverent and Respectful to the drivers who hang it out there each race. Thanks again!
Great, great use of slo mo.. The driver head shots were fantastic also. Having just a music soundtrack was really cool, an excellent contrast to the violence of the images and what we know it really sounds like.
#1 the track prep for the amount of rain that they had that week was very good. #2 505197 if you wouldn't come back because of that then im surprised youll go anywhere. lol you were standing in a spot where you were just asking to get hit.
Australian Speedway Fan here. If you've never been hit in the face with a big lump of dirt, you've NEVER had the experience of being at the track, and involved in the racing. It's a baptism.
I was at Kokomo ONCE and I ain't going back. I was in the pits on turn 1/2 watching a WWO race. A guy in front of me ducked and I got nailed right between the eyes with a fucking rock. I'll be damned if I drive 150 miles to get stoned again.
+fabi57iamracer Some of them yes, some no, some of the ones that can be used for either wing or non-wing have the tell tale wing post mounts welded on the upper hoop of the cage. Esentially though, the chasis designs are similar enough that you could race it in either class, with only a few modifications.

that was me in the 1g. I had brand new belts a Hans and arm restraints. they belts just stretched.
