Sonoma Nangbi Lhosar Celebration
Thank you Himalayan Sherpa Club Sonoma for organizing wonderful gathering on the first day of Lhosar 21st Feb 2023. Every one dress up with colorful traditional dress and exchanged their happiness expressing Tashi deleg with joy. The program began 2 PM by Sang Serkim (puja), right after offered Chyang to the gentle man praying Gyakar Penje and for ladies Marshal Jung-nge followed by Chyangul, Desil and Khapsa. As spacious space at the Hall every one enjoyed sitting together with near and dear and chatting, listening Sherpa song, played games. Right after the snacks 6 PM dances were performed at stage by different team and right after dinner 8:30 PM non stop Shyabru until 10:30 PM. DJ music until 12 Pm and both Papa and Mama toli helped shorting and cleaning the space and left at 12:30 PM. What a wonderfully day to begin with our New Year. Warm wishes on Lhosar to everyone.
