A very insightful opening episode on the nitty-gritty of making a legal will by all the three panel members, Ms. Sharmila, Fr Juvy and Mr Robinson. My appreciation to each one of you.
Excellent episode Fr Juvi, Mrs Sharmila and our Advocate Mr Robinson on the importance of the legal will and covering a lot of issues. Looking forward to the next two episodes too. Thank you
Very insightful and helpful. Could you shed some light on how to go about making a will wherein one partner the wife is Catholic and the other is Hindu only by birth.
Very useful interesting and well presented episode. Thanks to the panel and God's blessings for the next two episodes. My question to the panel is what happens when you have made a registered will with only one child and that child is living overseas and is married to a citizen of another country. Will my child get the full benefit to all my assets including bank accounts or will the citizen of another country have equal rights to my assets ?
Thank you for a very informative episode. Would you please inform us on the role and responsibilities of the executor in your next episode. Is it lawful for an executor to pass on his role to his spouse? Do beneficiaries have any legal recourse if the executor delays selling the asset and distributing the sale proceeds? Can the executor be a beneficiary? Is sharing of the Will part of the executor’s responsibility? When should the Will be shared and with whom? Sorry for this long questionnaire but the answers would be helpful either to me personally or at the Talk Show. Thanks and God Bless for sharing your time and talents.
When parents jointly make a will, do the children have to be present when they do so. Cause we were told that if you ate giving one property to one all your children have to be present.
Thank you for this information. If one is old and alone, children abroad, some trustworthy person is needed in case of illness to have access to the persons funds to make payments etc. what sort of person should we be looking for and shouldn’t there be some legal document?
Very informative. Question with regards to executor of the Will. Is it their duty to read the will on the demise of the parent and handover a copy of the will to all the beneficiaries. Does the beneficiaries have the right to ask for the copy?
