    Love hearing gardener saying leaves eaten by caterpillar a good thing 😊. Yes we need to feed the caterpillars and other insects in the end it all balances out. However I wish my deer read that mist flower is deer resistant, last year they enjoyed munching on it.

      Yes! Glad to hear that you too, also see, understand, and appreciate the goodness of caterpillars making some holes in our leaves!
      Oh gosh, don't get me started on the deer. They haven't touched our Mistflower, so I guess ours read the memo that they're not supposed to like it. But there are other plants that they chomp on that they're not supposed to. Grrrr.

    I noticed when the leaves come in they grow similar to basil or lemon balm. Have you ever cut the top to make them bushier plants?
