Nach einem Jahr Gebastel, Getüftel, Modell- und Teilebeschaffung läuft
die EKT- Werkstatt nun. Die Dampfmaschine ist ein Dachbodenfund und wohl noch nie unter Echtdampf gelaufen. Die Anlage läuft mit Druckluft sowie über einen Elektrogetriebemotor, der verborgen im Unterbau der Anlage sitzt. Dieser überträgt seine Drehbewegung mittels Zahnriemen und O- Ringen auf die Haupttransmissionen nach oben, und von dort zu den
EKT- Werkzeugmaschinen.
EKT bedeutet Elektro Kleintechnik Dresden, diese Lehrmodellmaschinen wurden zwischen 1921 und 1972 hergestellt.

After a year of tinkering and procuring parts, the EKT- workshop is now running.
The steam engine was found in an old attic and has probably never truly run on steam.
The workshop runs with compressed air as well as an electric gear motor
which is hidden in the substructure.
The electrical motor transmits its rotational movement by means of a tooth belt and O-ring seals upward onto the main transmissions and from there onto the EKT- machine tools.
EKT means "Elektro Kleintechnik Dresden", that models were manufactured from 1921 to 1972.

Ein Traum. Soviel Arbeit, so schön gemacht, ganz ganz toll.
Beautiful work, and I love the quality of your machines. A big step above the Wilesco and Mamod machines that us commoners use. As for running on compressed air, I use that to run my workshop. Not prototypical but it is the easiest and most practical way of doing it.
Cant imagine this machines can minimize until this size

Erst einmal mächtig Respekt für so ein schönes Diorama!
Ich wollte fragen ob sie zufällig wissen ob diese oder ähnliche Antriebsmodelle noch (auser von Wilesco) hergestellt werden. Über eine Antwort würde ich mich sehr Freuen.

Danke für dein Lob.
Die Antriebseinheit ist von der Firma Fleischmann.
Diese stellte laut Wikipedia 1969 die Produktion von Dampfmaschienen ein.
Die Werkzeuge und Transmissionen sind von der Firma E.K.T.
Diese gibt es leider seit 1972 auch nicht mehr.
Außer Wilesco weiß ich leider auch keinen aktuellen Anbieter.
Alternativ findet man in eBay immer wieder schöne, gut erhaltene Einzelstücke oder ganze Anlagen.

Danke erstmal für die schnelle Antwort.
Ich such seit einiger Zeit immer wieder nach solchen schätzen auf eBay aber leider sind die nicht allzu günstig. So zahlt man da schnell Mal 190€ für einen 10x10 cm großen Hobel-Tisch und das sehe ich beim besten Willen nicht ein...
Trotzdem nochmals vielen Dank für die Antwort und das wundervolle Video.
