seems like his skillset is solid. However, his two decisions on his college and mlb team to play for were based on the the weather and town. Make baseball and business decisions or at least pretend too. looking forward to watch the kid play
The problem with these videos is it puts thoughts in these kids heads that they are already a superstar. The kid has talent, but the flashy shit will get scouts to look the other way. You field a ball between your legs and you're done. The kid might have talent, but put him on the field with 8 other guys and how does he perform with the team, and against his opponents
Oof you should go into I minor league practice and see how much goofing off they do. Kids what 14? Full ride D1? Probably won't even see college baseball
Minor league ball is different, they can screw around during practice. But calling a kid "King of New York". You wanna see young talent. Look up Derek Jeter playing high school ball. He got drafted right out of high school. Always stayed humble and perfected the basics. That's a KING
1. Derek Jeter is overrated. 2. Let the kids have fun. These guys like Acuna and Tatis are saving the sport so obviously the next generation are going to be more like them than the guys from the past
It gives us confidence and makes other younger players wanna play baseball you have HS basketball players all over things like Overtime and BallisLife why can’t young baseball players have something similar we just tryna change the game and have fun nobody is fielding a ball between the legs in the game we know that but he’s practicing having fun get off his top
What is Wrong with you negative haters!! You don't know him AT ALL and videos and social media can misrepresent people, so just BE HAPPY FOR HIM, HOW HARD IS THAT TO DO?!! 🙄🤔🤷♀️🙏
Everyone looks great on video, specially on astroturf, let's see him playing with good competition on a regular dirt ballpark and then we can evaluate him properly. Until then he should be 🤫🤫.
Unusually large # of MLB scouts in the comments. Hating on a 16-year old kid bc he’s confident in his abilities is super whack. And to everyone saying “Oh it’s turf”, “Oh those grounders were easy”, remind us where you played D1 again?
This a cool ass channel. And it has nothing to do with the overlords over at perfect game. Really cool stuff. Just need to moderate the comments more. A lot of loser hate in these comments.

Lmao, I’ve been trying to find this comment and am happy someone finally said it. It is so easy to field on turf, it’s the shitty/un-groomed fields where we see who was the real hand speed and overall talent.
This kid is very good but let’s see how he does in real games with the pressure. My respect to him but fielding routine grounders over and over again don’t prove anything because he could drop that in a game
Yeah but going to a non power house school usually more playing time. If he goes to FSU, Florida, Miami, etc. They will already have 8+ guys at ss that are his caliber and some will already have college experience, in other words they would get the starting spot. But since he's going to USF he may walk right into a starting spot at ss or anywhere on the field.

"First one on the field first one off" Uhhh... think you meant last one off big guy.

haha, that immediately caught my attention, too. i had to pause it and replay. "wait, so what's his goal?! to get done w/ his workout the quickest?"

No, first one off the field. Meaning... he sprints off the field and is in the dugout first. Essentially meaning, he hustles.
