VW Passat B8.5, MY2020 still have the old Climatronic unit with physical button. It is possible to replace it with newer touch Climatronic unit from MY2020 car.

It would be great if you could make a video on how to retrofit. as far as I know there is no such video on how to disassemble and assemble new Touch climatronic control, you will be the first one and many will appreciate it including me.

Cause I've retrofitted the heating windscreen and I have no button for that in the upper screen like you. My button is on the bottom where your "rear" "air care" etc buttons are displayed.

Hi for Tiguan Mk2 i have climatronic with 3 zone and not seat heater, the seller say me the only touch panel without seat heater button are 2 zone, this is correct or i have to coded to work with 3 zone??

Hello! It was a GTE Passat, plug in hybrid or a petrol/gas? I looking for a clima touch panel component code number for a Passat GTE. I was trying with one panel from a Tiguan but didn’t work with all adaptations. Seems to not working with panels from gas/petrol cars. Do you know what climatronic touch panel with seats heat and aux heating code number are for GTE, plug-in hybrid VW cars are? Thank you!

The plastic trim was from Passat MY2021 and it was a prerfect fit.

Remove plastic trim around the navigation display, remove plastic trim around Climatronic and than remove the unit itself.

No, it needs to be recoded.

Probably should not be a problem. But we cannot confirm 100%, because we did not have such a case yet.
Did you send the code? The rear passenger air conditioner does not appear and when we press the middle blow, the foot is blowing, when the foot blow is turned on, the upper blowing is opened

Guys, how do I remove the plastic trim? Do I remove from on top of ashtray or from the sides?
Easiest is from the bottom of the plastic trim.

I am currently a supporter of these iconic 3 knobs and I even asked on the website if it was possible to replace them, they said that the beam must be replaced and that they do not do it. Since you could do an upgrade up, analogically down the same way, that's what I thought

These touch panels wont live long. Got to keep your eyes on them during driving to adjust anything. Accident risk
Functionally speaking it seems more difficult to use, especially when driving. I bought this new digital but I am very reluctant to install after this video. But digital is the direction the world 🌍 f cars is going now..
