- Join us for a new adventure as we travel to Walt Disney World! In this vlog we fly economy with British Airways from Gatwick (LGW) to Terminal C at Orlando International Airport (MCO). We take you with us from our pre-travel day stay, to checking into Disney's Old Key West Resort and catching the final night of the Disney Dreams That Soar drone show!

It's travel day! You join us at the Holiday Inn Worth near Gatwick Airport (LGW) on the night before our fight. We show you around the room and then head to the hotel restaurant for a bite to eat.
The next morning we get a taxi to the South Terminal and, after making our way through check-in and security, we head to the No.1 Lounge. We spend an enjoyable couple of hours eating breakfast, drinking coffee and Bucks Fizz and relaxing in the lounge.
Our British Airways flight in the World Traveller/economy cabin has a great selection of in-flight movies and Keith is happy that they have alcohol free beer! (Which is no longer available in the Virgin Atlantic economy cabin).
We arrive into Terminal C at MCO which is new, light and spacious. After an anxious wait for Keith's suitcase we finally make it through immigration and order a Lyft cab to take us "home" to Disney's Old Key West Resort.
It's our first time trying out the DVC Deluxe Studio Villa and we are impressed with the size of the room. However, after spending around 30 minutes in the room it is obvious that the musty and damp smell that we thought was just down to the recent rain and the room not being aired for a few days is not wearing off, so Guest Services kindly relocate us to another identical villa in the South Point Road area... which, thankfully, smells nice!
After a quick freshen up and a look around the Conch Flats General Store, we get the ferry boat to Disney Springs and head past House of Blues to the viewing area for Disney Dreams That Soar. The show is stunning and we are so pleased that we managed to see it on it's final night.
After the show we brave the dispersing crowds and make our way to Chicken Guy where we enjoy some of their famous chicken tenders and dipping sauces before heading back to the resort.

We are Keith, Tracey, Luke, and Daisy. We have been going on family vacations to Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida for almost 19 years. We have stayed on International Drive, Universal Resorts, and several Walt Disney World Resorts and became Disney Vacation Club members in 2022. Inspired by seeing other people sharing their adventures on UA-cam, we decided to document our experiences too. When not in Florida we run an accommodation business and support Luke’s motor racing adventures in the BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Championship. We have recently started filming on a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and edit using Adobe Premier Pro. Older vlogs were filmed on a Canon G7X Mark II compact camera and edited in i-Movie. I sat in that lounge last July at the opposite corner from where you are. I had a little bit of breakfast then lunch came out. I just had the nachos with fresh hummas it was delish.
After watching your vlogs from when you’ve stayed at old key west we have finally booked to stay there in the spring…cannot wait!
Great to have you guys back after few weeks! Bonus is you are back at OLD KEY WEST was our 1st stay on Disney with the kids and my folks such incredible memories! Plus we get the Michael moments!
That is the best safety briefing video I’ve ever seen on an aeroplane LOL wish we could have something like that here in Australia. They’re a little bit too boring and half people don’t listen to it here.

I think old key west gets overlooked because people still think of it as just the “vacation club” resort. But it looks really nice! Might be time to check it out! 😊

Laid in bed at Pop Century resort now, 6.44am and sadly it’s our travel day home after spending 2 weeks here. Loved every minute, thanks to your recommendations about this resort. Going to watch your vlog now - can’t wait! My daughter is sleeping and then it’s a visit to Disney springs before flight home later. Pop has been fantastic, we’ll be back for sure. 😊

My son and I stayed there in 2018 and the only thing I didn't like was it not having a quick serve food court. We ate breakfast quite a lot at Olivias cafe but at night getting grab n go then getting internal bus back to room was a lot after a full park day. I have stayed at Pop and love the access to The Skyliner and staying there next year
We were on the Fantasy the cruise before yours. Too bad I would’ve loved to have met you guys. We’re always in Disney around the same time as well. Lol
Watching it now guys and we tried lounge last year and we do prefer being in the shopping area to a lounge and getting for in one of the restaurants

lol I watch with caption and the changed duty free to juicy freeze. I will be calling it that from now on 😂
On the Pocket 3 I’d suggest using it to its max and filming in 4k 60fps for US (use 50fps in UK) looks much better than 1080 and you pay for 4k with it so why not use it is my thinking. Change sharpness (pro settings ) to -2 and noise reduction to -1. Set iso level 50-800 (or 1600 tops). Make sure your project is in same resolution when start editing.

OKW has been our home resort since 2002. It makes the 9-hour flight well worth it. We think you should go to Vero Beach Resort as it's cut from the same cloth.

Okay, we've stayed at Saratoga Springs before but never OKW. Do you like SSR better than OKW? We absolutely LOVED the ability to walk to Disney Springs.
Husband and I are looking to buy DVC within the next year or so and we're considering SSR.
Our favorite is Beach Club but I don't think we'll be able to buy in there.

Which lounge were you in?
My daughter celebrated her first st birthday at Olivia’s! 😊 the waitresses gave her a cup cake which she decorated her face with absolutely priceless! she is 28 now. Old Key West is a favourite of ours and we are long overdue for a visit back!
