Nice start to the series.. I like the format, going through the filmography in order. Have to catch up on the Coen brothers' myself, lot here that I have not seen.

I feel the same way about Miller's Crossing. It is right about a 7.5, I just wanted something more.
I need to watch more of their films. I just saw Blood Simple a few weeks ago, and Raising Arizona this past weekend.
    Great video man. 😃

I think 7.5 is super fair and I’m actually surprised people agree with me about it lol. You’re like the third person to tell me that.
Blood simple is excellent and raising Arizona was very fun as well. I hope you enjoyed both!
Thanks Holland! Hope ur doing well.

Blood Simple I would rank very high. Raising Arizona had some good beats to it, but I think it's on the lower end of Coen films. 😃

Hey, Alex, great topic for a video. Funnily enough, I had also been thinking of doing something similar, but haven't had the time to rewatch and catch up on movies because I have so many unwatched films in my collection.
Hudsucker Proxy was actually my first Cohen Bros. film and I caught it on HBO shortly after it left theaters. I remember liking it a lot and when I try to describe it to people nowadays, they look at me like I'm out of my mind. My memories of it kind of remind me of Brazil, but I was 11 or 12 when I saw it, so who knows?
I probably liked Buster Scruggs a little more than you did, but I do remember thinking it was just too long. Maybe it would have played better if the movie was broken down into two films. Also, the title and marketing were a little misleading because Buster Scruggs just wasn't a huge part of the movie (albeit one of the best parts).
    Take care, man!

That first story in buster Scruggs was by far the best! Such a fun character.
Hudsucker I wanna watch again. I really liked the first half but then it trailed off imo.
      Thanks for watching man!

My Top 3 is probly No Country, Fargo and O Brother, Where Art Thou? Really enjoy Llewyn Davis, True Grit, Blood Simple, Barton Fink. A Serious Man for some reason I just don'remember very well, need a rewatch. I wasn't a fan of Miller's Crossing personally. Have not seen Hudsucker Proxy, Intolerable Cruelty, Ladykillers, Hail, Caesar!, Ballad of Buster Scruggs or Tragedy of Macbeth. Great video I like how you went in chronological order.

Honestly the ones you haven’t seen don’t really need to be seen lol. I would recommend checking out a serious man again. Very well done and I think their most underrated. Glad I’m not alone on millers crossing. It’s good but compared to their other crime films, it’s my least favourite. O brother I’ll have to rewatch sometime to see if I enjoy it a bit more.

Macbeth is Joel's film, it doesn't count as the brothers film.

Yeah I wasn’t sure if I should include it or not but I ended up putting it on the list obviously
