i saw a video the other about the Snow blower, you can use it for silage as well, just put it on the front of a tractor, then bring a trailer, then it should work
Local co tractor had a fleet of class 630 640 540 arions, can’t keep them on the road with how much they break down. His class jaguar forage wagon is good though.
Love the video man! I have the same issue with my animal stats. I take care of them constantly, and they still have low health bars (I think it’s health. The same as you either way) I am in my first season mod game on XB1. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to do it, but I’ve fallen in love with the seasons mod, and it’s all thanks to your videos! Keep on rocking brother!

when it comes to harvest, there is a gate that goes from the cow paddock to the field that is really hard to get into (7 i think). Its way easier to get into the field with that gate.

daggerwin after u cut the grass in fields 37 & 38 u should plow the two and regrown grass there and keep up the great vids
Dagger just had a thought...everytime you buy a feild keep an eye on the price because lets say you spent 100,000 on feilds bring that 100.000 onto the next map and just use that for land because land is apart of the farm assets and land doesnt really deprecaite either u look after it well 2;)

Daggerwin I know that it will be a bother to convert your save game to the updated version of the map but I think you definitly should do it because there's a lot to gain from doing it, appart from the extra crops it also comes with a mod that changes the texture of the fertilization from the current "wet ground" to seeing a white layer on top of the field, it does not only look more realistic (and I believe each type of fertilization comes with a new realistic texture) as it also makes it easier to do without needing GPS
Daggerwin there is a pig food mixer which may make it cheaper than buying the pig food
It would be good to use the same machines so you don't have a ton of money on the next map, but it's nice to see you using different equipment.

I think I saw somewhere that the animal health on seasons is low when they are first bought to simulate them having to acclimatise to their new environment. As well has having been transported. It will go up eventually.
Daggerwin wool can stay in rain because it just sheds the water not absorb it
Don’t know if you’re aware dude, you can access your OSR field via your small grass field, to save you having to drive all the way around, and traverse the tricky entrance. Hope this helps :)

Please may I correct you Daggerwin, normally the first cut for silage is the heaviest crop when it happen's in May. I know, been there got the t-shit done it many times.
It was approximately 95000 litres of silage.
Omg leave the wool alone.. It'll tell you when there is no more room for pallets then move them. Let them fill up as well..

Like anything if looked after claas tractors are brilliant but the older 600 series like you have on fs17 have head gasket problems on the john deere engine so they tend to need a new head gasket at like 6000 hours but claas sorted the issue on the newer models by using their own head gasket that could withstand much higher pressure.

For the next let's play would you consider using "The Valley the Old Farm" map? Although I'm still enjoying this map a lot, so keep it going a lot longer Daggerwin :)
Lorenzo Pappatico the valley the old farm has lots of problems in it like a couple of weird wholes in the fields.

You can use the new field for putting silage bales or putting sheds so you can put the hay bales in it or machines
I have never seen claas tractor in the us but have seen a some claas combines witch are black an yellow here

Me and my friend has this map on a dedi server any way when the harvest season for us is over we are plowing our fields and plow the edge of our three grass fields to expand em'.

Daggerwin when you do change maps can you change the big john deere to a john deere 8r because if you do get the pellet production youl need at least 350hp to power the machine and the john deere 8520 doesnt have 350hp,or you could get a completely different tractor all together

How do you get the claas
Daggerwin, rather than changing field 9 to grass, why not just mow the cow and sheep pastures? You don't have many arable fields as is. On my save game, I plowed and seeded grass in the pastures so I could apply fertilizer.

A farm near me that had a class had to spend 50k on repairs bill
That building would be close to 600,000 pounds or dollars.
Not counting the time during th jump cut the second grass field you fertilized took 35 sec not 30☺
There health needs to improve or the reproduction time will be longer for example my pigs are on point and they reproduce in 7 mins give or take a min or two

That Claas tractor is so underpowered! Any small hill at all and it's down to 7 or 8 mph! And it's not even pulling anything heavy.. Really annoying to watch Daggerwin! Love Claas tractors, just that one is so dead of its self!

Dagger the only word for claas is crap my friend had 3 and all of them lasted 2 years and one of the boys went carting stone and the engine cuted out and caused a really bad accident

What is power food
In FS15 it was called Total Mixed Ration and is a combination of hay and silage. You can also add some straw to bulk it out, the mixer has a chart that shows how much you have and can have of each.
Can I feed cows crops like grain and canola
No, cows take the items listed on the animals page (water, straw, hay, grass, silage, power food). You can give the pigs canola, as listed on that page.
