That's because dmc never had a Japanese dub up until the anime. Dmc4 came after the anime but the original version was in english only. Dmc4 special edition has the option the change the language to japanese but only on the japanese release. But dmc on english is the way to go imo.

@Nate Jones nah, I'm just saying that the japanese dub is cool but jarring and doesn't fit the characters all that well (for obvious reasons)
@@sharavy6851 yeah but you gotta agree the one thing good about the Japanese dub is when Dante says "SHURYIKEN" as opposed to "rising dragon" when he lands the real impact move.. it just sounds much cooler imo.. what do you think?

Multiplayer would have hindered it to try and make the characters accessible and playable for people who aren’t as good at this game with unnecessary buffs and nerfs
@Nate Jones The characters were not designed around fighting each other. They can't be.
All characters would have a lot of trouble with Nero's snatch ability, or Dante's teleport. Especially V. His gameplay is a lot about smart positioning, but the other characters can get to him instantaneously, so V is defenseless. A lot of Nero's devil breakers (like punchline) would be unavoidable too.
Most ranged weapons are locked on to their targets, and most of them also fire instantaneously. You can't possibly predict when Nero releases his charged shot, or when Dante will fire his shotgun. In DMC4 during the Dante boss battle, this happens a lot.
Most melee attacks aren't much better, especially with connection lag. During the Vergil boss fight, all of Vergil's attacks are telegraphed and follow the same pattern, so they're possible to predict and block. But players don't telegraph anything. Their attacks connect the instant they press a button, and Dante's moveset is so huge, you can't even predict WHAT his next attack will be.
The first player who gets hit will be stun-locked for a while, which will be frustrating. DT would be massively overpowered because it doesn't get stunned as easily. Sin DT would be an instant win-button. Every time Dante uses Royal guard, you'd be scared to hit him, because he may do a counter-attack that takes all your health.
In short, I think most player attacks would be broken in Multiplayer. Fights would boil down to either luck, what character you pick, or how willing you are to abuse especially broken moves.
@@AbysmalRandomn3ss ssshh don't let Capcom hear you say that otherwise they'll never do it LoL.. yeah sure it wouldn't be fair on less skilled players but hey that's what the single player mode is for.. you guys aren't getting my point.. a huge part of the game genre would still be focused as a single player oriented game but I'm just saying why not add a multi-player 1v1 mode as a bonus just for fun.. that would truly test the skills of the pros when pitted against each other.. or if it's too complicated to the point of hindering it then they could have at least added a co-op mode in bloody palace, and seeing how they incorporated the cameo system I really thought we were gonna get that in bloody palace.. guess I was wrong 😔
@@Sercil00 I agree with all you're saying but surely they could make some tweaks around that if they were to make a 1v1 multi-player mode.. I get that DMC is strictly a single player game because of the broken moves and what not and it still would mainly be a single player oriented game.. all I'm saying is it would be awesome to get a multi-player mode as an extra bonus.. the more the merrier right?? I mean DMC 3 & 4 had you fighting against Vergil & Dante(two human opponents) who were different than your average demons but obviously they were controlled by com.. what if they could make it work around that somehow.. maybe give you ways to defend against bullets by bouncing your bullets against it LoL kinda like when Dante and Lady fought in the cutscene of DMC 3.. as for melee attacks, they should restrict the stun effect to a minimum so that a highly skilled player can't continuously whip out broken moves while the lesser skilled player is left with his dick in hand until he has to watch helplessly as his fresh health bar drops to zero lol 😂... also parrying is already in the game so they could add some sort of defense/counter mechanism against human opponents for abilities like Nero's devil arm snatching.. you say it's instant but thats what makes it even better since you'd have to be accurate with timing therefore pushing you to be a better devil hunter! haha it's all just wishful thinking but I don't see it as impossible..
I dunno how they do it I just wish they would.. imo the base mechanics to make it work are already there present in the main game.. they just need to tweak it to make it suitable for 1v1 combat.. it would be sick to see a multi-player mode c'mon surely you agree despite being practical about it.. now I know they should and could have implemented a co-op mode for bloody palace and I'm disappointed as to why they didn't implement that.. they introduced the cameo system which worked more or less, except for some trolls stealing your kills, specially with Nero's snatch ability haha.. but yeah I don't understand why they didn't make co-op available for a mode that's a hack & slash haven in it's entirety such as the bloody palace.. in a way it would've only made more sales for example, a friend who plays DMC could encourage a friend who doesn't to buy the game so they can both hack & slash away together!! LoL

I can care less about less skilled players it’s the people who are good at this game I’m talking about. The game would be brought down to a simpletons level like most multiplayer games are and would have to compensate, not to mention the resources they would have to shift just to make ONE multiplayer mode that wouldn’t benefit anyone.

Double Kalina Ann is mostly useless in this fight because Vergil either deflects all of it or it's moves take too long to startup and get you hit. The only time you can really use it against him is using the aerial gunslinger shot in a combo, and I'm pretty sure he did that like once.

I must be a minority but I never liked the rebellion , I use the Sparda myself. Wish we have Alastor as some form of dlc 🙏 best sword dante ever had

Why do people jump while guarding? Wouldn't it easier while on the ground?
Jumping gives you I-frames so you can kind of parry after the attack has already landed (kind of). That's just my spin on it ofc, I could be completely wrong but I don't think I am.

@@saLym-ym7wu to be exact because you are invincible for an instant when you do the jump and make timing for royal block easier, royal block can only be performed when you just about to get hit, since DMC3 block has an effect to resetting all of your action even jumping, so the moment you got invinsible and you press the block button will make that invinsible you got from jumping to be reseted and the moment you just about to get some damage your block will reacted first and resulted royal block

最初のバスタ出来るとこに追撃して5分の2くらい攻撃して、dtバスタしながら、羽根攻撃(出来たかはよくわからん)後は攻撃を避けて攻撃できる時に確実に攻撃を加える
上手くやればバージル1度もdtしないで倒しきれる、それでノーダメS取れた、ノーマルだけど
実はバージルネロにたいして1度もdt使わないで手加減して負けたのかな？ゲーム上使うだろーけど
