Vicki, As always, what a wonderful day! I especially appreciated the way you eased those of us new to mixed media into your wheel house. I loved spending the day with you. You kept me company while I worked on a mixed media piece. You inspire me to keep trying. I am legally blind and some of this is tough for me do, that’s why I love mixed media. I can color outside the lines and it’s beautiful.
My favorite thing I learned to try is doing a mixed media background to cut circles of “contained funk.” You are a fabulous teacher and confidence builder. Thank you!
I wasn’t able to watch this yesterday, but catching up today. I’m having so much fun doing the mixed media and making the layouts! I had not cut shapes from all the different colors and used them all on one layout until today.
I used stars to document a page about my grandsons, and circles for a page of my Maine Coon cat too. So happy with how they turned out. You’re such a fabulous teacher and love you so much! That little pink die cut machine is so cute!

Blending I kept going and did the stenciling on top and loved the result. I’m making the cutest tag book with pictures of my daughter and the puppy 😊

My favourite was the mixed media but really I loved all three parts.
FYI…..when I cook fish, I run it under cold water and then let it sit in an ice bath for an hour. Then I dry it really well with paper towels before I cook it. That takes care of the strong fishy smell and you are good to go.
I have been watching you ALL DAY!! I am sick in bed, so no crafting for me. But I can't think of a better way to spend INSD than to watch you!! I enjoyed all the videos, but I think enjoyed the tag book the most! I love your JUST DO IT attitude!! ❤

I loved all the things Vicki!! Stand out was the lifting with baby wipes and sprinkling droplets of water and lifting with paper towel.

I loved watching all 4 videos you made this weekend! My favourite techniques were using the pencil eraser for dots, and removing the ink through the dot stencil with the baby wipes! Thanks for sharing all your inspiration & talent.

First and foremost, thank you Vicki. Today was great!!! I honestly loved it all, but right now what I'm a beginner at is mixed media. While my brand new ink was dry and I couldn't partake, I loved watching you and plan on coming back once I get new products. I'm excited to try all the techniques, the circle punching and the dotting with the eraser. Love how you take something so simple to make it your own. :)

Loved today- thank you so much Vicki for showing us so many techniques! The technique I want to try is the one where you use water on a cup rim to remove the distress ink- so easy but so beautiful! And LOVE your newest collection! Will definitely be stocking up on all the things ❤

Thanks for a great day, Vicki! Today I got to play with distress ink and it really performs differently than oxides. Also VB foundations paper is a game changer! Love it all!!!
i watched all day in the background, making kits and shopping. i wanted to see what magic transpired so that i can shop my stash and make all the things. Thanks for your time today, my favourite tip is to die cut the hot messes into contained funk.
i did make the 4x6 cards for my mini album, just need to punch holes and print pics then decorate. making an album mini card for mothers day

Hello my friend! I can't wait to try out the circle "cup" technique. You can always take the most mundane thing and turn it into something magical. All your layouts were gorgeous and I will scraplift them all!
I’m surprised that I never thought of stenciling over ink blending and then removing some of the ink...or adding white? I also absolutely loved the little book that you made. Even though I am not a photograph user I am imagining using some of my die cut designs to fill up the pages. Last but not least, I very much enjoyed watching you build your scrapbook pages. I just love mixed media. It’s a world full of possibilities. Thank you so much for today, Vicki
it was so fun hanging out with you today. so today i scrapbooked some harder things in my life since i had time alone to scrapbook it was a time of reflection for me. and i learned from you to die cut mixed media pages into shapes to use on layouts. i have been scrapbooking since i was 11 so learning new techniques is super fun keeps it fresh.

What I learned today: Vicki is just so mesmerizing watching your thought process especially when taking the mixed media and creating from it.

Great everything as always! For me it was misting brush before adding paste to stenciled areas was a good reminder! I forgot that!!
