- A full walkthrough of Doors Retro Mode. This is the new April Fools 2024 update. Same gameplay but with limited time and lots of parkour. 😊
I am using a Nvidia Ansel with Reshade shaders for more realistic RTX graphics.

Doors devs are like Mojang devs, they don't update their game in months but have the best april fools update

The difference is that mojang is a team whilst doors is primarily built by 3 people
Now I see that people are having trouble with the new April fools update, so here are some tips.
(Yes I did copy and paste this from a different video to help people out.)
1. You must speedrun this, no distractions.
2. Screech can appear in any room, so be prepared. When you hear a seek chase noise, that is a signal that screech could be behind you.
3. Always look down but enough to see the door key if there is one because of eyes
4. When you have to hide in a closet, always face the opposite direction of the crack you can see through in the closet. This is because then if screech tries to get you, you can always look to the front and catch him.
5. Ambush is really annoying. Do the same thing as #4 but stay in there until you know ambush is gone.
6. When you come across the balls in the obbies, always aim for the middle, you won’t slip.
7. For the 3 pathways, just use the blocks.
8. When you come across the trusses to climb up in door 42. It’s really hard. So in order to climb up it, jump from truss to truss while climbing up.
9. IGNORE JEFFS SHOP it wastes time.
10. If you have a lighter or a flashlight, idk what that does but I’m pretty sure it just decreases the chances of you getting screech.
11. If you have 250-350 seconds left when you on door 32, you’ll have time don’t panic but go fast.
12. If you lose half health by door 40, make sure you have a revive because you might die on door 42.
13. The actual way to get to door 42 in one second is to just type “Drakobloxxers.”
14. The one above was a lie.

This challenge isn't that hard, more so it's incredibly punishing. Any small mistake and you lose.
Yeah especially how screech can spawn in lit rooms and deals OVERHIGH damage
No way super hard mode is already over an year old now, time flies fast.

The only problem i have: Ambush has a rare chance to replace Rush when spawning in, with said chance increasing the further players progress through the Hotel. It is most likely to spawn after The Library, and cannot spawn in The Greenhouse. Ambush is significantly faster than Rush, but unlike Rush, it cannot open any unopened doors.
Once it spawns, Ambush emits a high-pitched distorted "scream" before speeding through rooms shattering any lights inside of them. When it reaches an unopened door, it will turn around and backtrack through previous rooms. When it reaches a closed door (preceding doors close as players progress), it will either despawn, or turn around and repeat. This process is known as rebounding. Ambush may rebound anywhere from 2~4 times[citation needed] before despawning.
After the Hotel+ Update, Ambush's presence will not cause the lights to flicker, unless players open a new door after triggering its spawn.
I got ambush replacing rush in retro mode 6 times. I keep dying to him in retro cuz the closets bounce me out sometimes. and idk why..
I got Ambush in door 2 and 4 in the retro mode like 4 times
I encountered Ambush at doors 21 & 41 in one of my runs of The Hotel -- this run also happened to be the run where I first survived Ambush.
Also, during the run where I beat the game, for some odd reason, Eyes did not appear at all for the entire run until the greenhouse, at exactly door 91. How rare is that? Eyes is pretty common normally, it was also the first entity I ever encountered, but for some reason, this occasional entity did not appear until the greenhouse in that run.

I see these comments on every RTX DOORS video from you. However, I'm not seeing one here, so I'll just say it myself.
The janitor did a great job polishing the floors, it definitely adds to the classic Roblox vibe in my personal opinion.
Random fun fact: I’m pretty sure that this update was inspired by the numerous doors copies on retrostudio.
Fun fact:The key in the retro mode is axtually a real life toy by roblox I actually have it my cousin gave it to me and it cost SGD10 if you wondering what is the price (Its a toy box you won't 100% get this it's random so try your luck if you want)

tips for mobile users like me lol
1. in obbirs like seek figure watch on legs when lazer walk u wont get damaged
2. boxes are useless theyre impossible to push so thats waste of time
3. if youre noob at obbies you are not gonna win this mode medium and pros are can
4 always look down eyes and screech are common so look down always and try do watch to screech
5. dont go to teammates closets(mostly yall does solo becuz teammates makes
waste of time)
6. at guess paths 42 doors is imposible go mobile users tip 2 is useless there
7. dont go early from closet when ambush ambush makes a rat moment so if 7 secs passed and he dont go u can go away from closet
8. dragobloxxers are having skill issue are you low ground youll die fast if you almost at end you are save
9.try watching tutorials without rtx rtx makes everything goofy(if you have rtx so maybe u are gonna know)
