Salt and pepper squid is one of my favorites. It contains a lot of references to inner city and skateboarding which I relate to heavily! He also brings up his homie that jumped off the bridge in the “jazz hands” video which is super dope
Just found you looking for aes reactions. Been listening to him for 20 years. Love to see someone else that enjoys him so much. Subbing! Got to watch your journey
@@interactivereactions yeah either at the table or they are still standing & waiting for the table & watching him eat. The whisper could also be the nervousness & awe 7 year old Aes was experiencing.
@interactivereactions I don't think he has at all. Just making a correlation seeing as how El-P and Killer Mike are Run The Jewels and El-P was on Definitive Jux for so long. Ace and El-P were tight.
@@durere I posted this on part 1 a min ago lol, that feature somehow totally flew under my radar even though I'm pretty up to date on everything Aesop, was a week out before I heard it.
Yo after you said "Mr. T plays himself" I instantly realized that Ryan Reynolds is probably the younger Mr. T. Because Ryan Reynolds ONLY plays Ryan Reynolds (at least from what I've seen I could be wrong). And that's Part 1 of this comment. Omega based take on how the ratios in sandwiches are everything. "And the bread!" Bread is the most important when it comes to the sandwich being made! You're not using roast beef with white grain bread mf! Part 2 of this comment I guess: I find the line "I'm here to watch a friend jump off a bridge because he's friended. To us that's what a friend is, what a terrible question." to be overly profound. It takes "mud is thicker than blood" to a new level I think. It's a line to commemorate how deep a friendship can go in terms of what you're willing to go through with that other person to show that the bond is strong enough to endure anything; even if that thing is game ending themselves. It's so morbid and beautiful at the same time, like a person dying in bliss.
Hell yea
_Toothpick_ has so much swag.
25:30 Aes got the munchies bad!

I APPRECIATE YOU!
I love how he whispers verse 2 on “100 Feet Tall” to indicate they are sitting at the table talking about him
I’m just picking up on the tone switch, the first was with mad excitement and the second is then processing it together at the table… genius!

When I read ''whispers'' and 100ft Tall, I immediately thought you meant the
''Mr T is a hundred feet tall _(he's five foot ten)''_ bit.
Kyanite Toothpick is the only track on this record that Aes didn't produce himself.
Ah ok
One of the best tracks 🎉
Which one?
Kyanite Toothpick. Honestly, they're all better the more and more I listen to them.
Killer Mike I think he's referring to on Salt and Pepper Squid.
@@djmizzou3030really? I don’t think Aes had worked with killer Mike much

17:35 I THINK (don’t know, but guessing) “Mike” is Onry Ozzborn
As good a guess as any!
hah, I just found a song they did together about a month ago, BADMINTON, pretty damn dope.
