    I love the portability, and the acceptance of this device -- People don't shy away from it the way they do so many communication devices in learning how to use it. I'd love to get more of my kids on them!

    Although this is exciting... we've had many kids with CP use many different speech generating devices before iPads. iPads work for some of our kids but not all.

      I think I directed that at the people responsible for producing this thing. This was far from my first encounter with the function of people at this level behaving in such a manner in the course of producing their work, and I'd become fed up. They're responsible for how their work turns out, after all.
