Idk how the cure would take place in this universe though. Cause so far, the cure only works before zombification.
@@nekomarinyan1398 the cure definitely doesn't work on zombies who have been infected to the point where either is damaged to the point if the cure was used on them they'd die or if the body is too decayed do it's not necessary a cure but more a one use antibody where your body doesn't gain an immunity to the virus but it is killed

When he's looking in the bathroom seeing blood everywhere, it has to have some deeper symbolic meaning tying with his prison situation. My take on the ending is that there wasn't anything in the bathroom and Arean was completely imagining it, just simply trauma and PTSD playing tricks on his mind from all the blood-shed he's endured.
What do you think happened to the wife?
Nah i think it's pretty clear that his wife and her family were wiped out.

@@someonealsosomeone5518 Maybe they got infected, and went to the bathroom to be out of the way and turned in there. Arean had to kill them, hence the blood in the bathroom.
Those last few seconds of pure silence, cut with the sound of a door rattling was peak storytelling
I love how the series is taking a similar storytelling style to the book, World War Z, with the survivors talking from the perspective of the aftermath, and giving a recounting of their experiences told in an interview format.
Arean be like: "Wow, the cruise ship was so hard, I couldn't even make it"
Also Arean: "What if I make it even harder?"
Damn, Arean's narration is as good as always, with tense pacing and excellent development. I felt this video was stronger, musically, it was such a pleasure to listen to and even a bit hipnotic. I can only hope this is the start of a new series. Excellent work! 👌
Ok so at the end he either A. Found his wife as a zombie B. Found the father as a zombie C. Both or D. There was nothing there and is having PTSD of when he was in prison

Man this was so stressful and sad. I was more emotionally engaged with this than 99% of all TV shows and movies out there these days. Great work.
Can you make a story about a man, who loved challenges with maps? He will collect piece by piece, little by little different clues for a road to get to a treasure. Who was making these letters in the start of the outbreak had a good state of mind, and with it's progression the letters that explained clearly where to go to find a 'treasure'(shelter, maybe, or something else, it's only an idea) started to get riddles in them, questions about the purpose of the protagonist of the story, explaining then his point of view with a distorted phylosophy.Every clue must be difficult to achieve. What do you think?What ending this story can have?
the things that make arean's vids a masterpiece is not only his narration voice its also the way he potrays the story and it makes it entertaining

Hey Arean, just wantd to comment and say you are excellent at story telling in this medium. My favourite moment from this video was when you were trying to hotwire the car. the use of the soundtrack and editing really made me feel the tension. Great work!

I actually like imagining Arean's characters and other players doing their own things off screen while I play as my go to character named Jamie Bennett.
Each character with their own backstory, struggles and personalities.
First of all this story is actually better than some AAA games stories ( looking at you CoD vanguard, red fall, watch dog and ect...) . Second of all my take on the ending is what his seeing is unreal. I am guessing that it's because of a trauma, exhaustion, shock and PTSD. The reason behind it is that you can clearly see that the home is very clean and with no indication of zombie breaking in or any blood stain. Also you can see that there's a note on a refrigerator that's probably most likely left by the wife. She either decided to go look for her father or left with him for much more secure place. But idk man also sorry for the bad English.
More likely, the wife or her dad succumbed to the airborne strain and either a) killed the other one in the bathroom or b) tried to kill themselves in the bathroom, but didn't destroy the brain and therefore reanimated.
Your directing - the gory discretion shot at 2:57 in particular - is great!
The emotion behind this story was intense and heart wrenching and I loved every second of it

Great video! This is a perfect display at just how good zomboid is with a little creativity. I'm excited to see the game progress since a lot of the mid/late game kind of blends together, but these beginning stories that people create are always so fun to watch. The ending though😭😭

Well if we can assume the virus wasn't widely known and witnesses only saw him stomping a mans head in (despite his testimony and the missus), they coulda charged him with involuntary manslaughter and put em prison til things got as bad as they did.

This makes this feel like a real documentary.
Imagine being an inmate, and one day seeing this. Everyone a zombie, whether you knew them or not.
And when you did escape, most likely, the real life hell wouldn't end.

I wonder if this would ever tie in with the doctor, remembering the fact that he still knows about a cure and leaving it behind is really sad
My take on the ending was that he saw his wife when he open the door and couldnt shoot her thats why theres blood everywere cuz she bit him and then he knew he had to finish his goal so he ended his wife and ended himself but then again thats just what i would do if something like this ever happens to me so take it with a grain of salt awesome video by the way loving the narrations you are literally the best out there.!!!

The ending was not certain, there are 2 option for this.
1. The man losing hope and let his wife eat him and dies. (The End)
2. Knowing that his wife is already dead before open the door and then shoot her, accept the fact that she's dead. And he continue to live and to survive. Hoping that there's a cure to end this apocalypse. (The Sequel)

The car hot wiring scene had me on PINS AND NEEDLES.
"Life was already hell, for some of us the world has already come to an end". Man, this is why I want a zombie moving to revolve around a prisoner or an ex-prisoner. For those who know what kind of life and terrible stuff happens in prison, makes a really interesting mindset person like that to be affected very differently in a apolocypes world. One being obvious is having zero hope for humanity cause well in prison I imagine some people will say humanity was already killing each other. At the same time not so shocked or surprised by how humans will turn on each other for survival, so the expectations of people are very low, in this story. The LITTERAL one good thing is being a lady, not because it is romantic or anything, but simply because I know one the worst things being in prison, is not being able to be involved with the person you care about, like children, wives, fathers, family, friends. It is one the hardest things to deal with, so a prisoner in a zombie world setting searching for his woman really makes sense in everything in itself. My best part is when the police uniform was put it, I sensed a big foreshadowing there.

In a apocalypse prisons would be one of the first places to be widely infected, quarantined and locked away to die on the chaos, all the non_immunies would end up turning and killing or surrounding the rest that isn't killed by the ones outside
