There’s ground squirrels at Rockaway Beach too. They are super friendly. People feed them. They don’t seem to be aggressive.

Roy. They are so adorable! They really get super close to you too. Oh I saw that bird swoop in there and grab the nut lol. So many squirrels in the park. I like that your brought them a mix of nuts…they were really enjoying it like they’re at a party! 👍😊🇨🇦

These squirrels are brazen and used to interactions with humans in the big cities! I lived in NYC and the squirrels behaved like ( my definition ) "little tweaker rats with fluffy tails" ! They demanded me ( in a heavy New York accent ) , "O! You wanna get by me?! It'll cost ya!"
As you may know, I ain't a squirrel fan but appreciate them and your video! They are like those stealing "monkeys who steal valuables from humans and then barter for their return! These animal liars, cheats, and hustlers really will stop at nothing to get a meal. "
In fairness, our squirrels are much cuter than NYC's rats! 🤣 🐿🐀
