I love the improvement in smoothing the side walk surfaces, the abruptly step rises did not appear here. I like the physical fitness showed by young, old, male, or female walking along the side walk. These show the residents' high awareness of health care! It is a great new development in Taipei. Nice video here again, thank you!

Taipei looks really retro! It has a 1970’s vibe. The buildings are old and rundown. But it has modern facilities if you go inside the malls or stores. It’s an interesting city.

I don't like the idea of recording a city from the sky. A city was built for people to live in, so a city must be filmed from a human perspective of vision, and Taipei is just a perfect city of humanity. I say this because i still find many people think ridiculously that a city must have a lot of skyscrapers so that it can be defined as a "great city". I hope you understand that a city isn't a piece of artwork for birds to appreciate.

我從小在共和大廈長大，陽台望出去能看到復旦橋，那時候除了共和大廈之外還有安樂大廈，和勝利大廈。其餘是一片稻田。369巷 (已改為187巷)，沒有行人，沒有車輛，也沒有兩旁的停車，更沒有攤販。巷弄乾淨整潔。要想熱鬧就到對面西村。東村這裡是相當安靜的。小時候騎腳踏車🚴穿梭於東村的巷弄之間，或是鑽進新工地偷一些材料回家玩，記憶猶新。高中時去香蕉船聽駐唱邊彈吉他邊唱西洋歌就已經算是當時很時尚的地方了。胡因夢也曾去過，我從2樓看到她，翹個腳，很酷的樣子。那時有一個駐唱能唱整首American Pie，覺得他很了不起。那時共和大廈對面是日本學校，時常有小學生在操場。舊曆年時曾經用冲天炮，二踢腳等等的鞭炮以日本學校操場為目標把鞭炮打過去，一洩當年日本侵華之恨！運氣好，沒傷到小孩。復旦橋下，安和路，仁愛保齡球館，主婦之店，有我初戀的回憶。初中有一次我晚上從補習班回家路上在復旦橋的樓梯上兩邊被混東門的流氓堵住，被帶到復旦橋下狠狠的打了一頓。由此可見那個時候人煙相當稀少。1982年離台時那邊都沒開始熱鬧繁榮。之後才被稱為「東區」。每次回台看父母，注意到東區一次比一次更熱鬧，越來越方便。後來又有地下街，是我父母親最鍾意的地方，時常在電話裡跟我說，無論台北是什麼樣的天氣，現在都有一個散步的好去處了。聽了都替二老感到開心。感謝播主拍下這些令人懷念的地方，每次回去，尤其像短片中夕陽西下華燈初上之際，那是東區最美的時光，在那邊和父母親散步或上館子，鼎泰豐，看到這影片看到這麼熟悉的地方，和它的變化，真是令人百感交集。如果是在共和大廈門口能巧遇博主，我一定會邀請您進去到後院繞一圈，後面還蠻大的，都拍下來留念。現在共和大廈要被拆了，以後永遠看不到了。我有一次回去，就把共和大廈裏裏外外包括地下室全部錄下來，現在想想那真是明智之舉。
哇！好有紀念價值的回憶錄，看著畫面都浮現出來了，原來共和大廈已經有這麼久的歷史，沒想到裡面還有大後院！
前幾天也有經過共和大廈，真的已經架上鷹架了

@@TaiwanWalker 謝謝您，你拍的非常好，非常好👍久居國外的我，思念家鄉不落人後，看您拍的影片寥解思鄕之情。有一次回台灣看我母親，就是從地下街走，結果看到我母親和看護坐在椅子上休息。母親開心的不得了。我們並排坐，我母親請我吃水果。當時我還拍了一些照片。也曾和父親父子倆到地下街散步。也有與父母親一起在地下街散步。也有推著我父親輪椅一起到地下街散步，但那是他已經不認得我是誰了。初中時共和大廈地下室就是我和同學們桌球對陣的地方。有一次我的朋友把一部6樓主人栓在地下室的一輛十飛腳踏車偷走了。交友不慎，我爸爸對我相當失望。我低著頭到6樓去道歉。有一次我在地下室發現一個共和大廈的模型，非常精緻。我拿大龍炮把它給炸了。從這就可以知道我小時候多調皮了。無巧不成書，我岳母的大哥是共和大廈的總設計師。我小學四年級搬進共和大廈。真是是相當漂亮。按照現在的設計標準來看那個時候的設計真的是已經相當先進相當國際水準了。東區的回憶太多不勝枚舉。拜賜您的攝影分享，並且還特別駐足共和大廈前特別拍了一段，令我的回憶潮湧而來。

Taipei looks like some places in a two decades former Tokyo.
若不是路旁停放及路上的機車很多，這樣的街景看起來和日本、韓國的大城市無異。台北很漂亮，期待來高雄拍又直又寬，棋盤格似的道路、街景。
