The Midwestern states have the largest Muslim population because Illinois Minnesota and Michigan is home to a lot of Muslims from different regions of the world from different ethnic groups.
Brother I am not sure about the "BEST" place to live in Chicagoland. Each person's definition of Best varies! For me if I want to be close to Halal restaurants, I would look near Devon Ave. within 10 minutes driving and of course there would be a masjid close by.
he copied the restaurants name from "javaid nehari" a very very famous restaurant in pakistan, a lot of pakistanis living abroad hit that place once an year atleast.
I ate at Sabri Nihari last year. I tried the Nihari too. And I could not taste a single thing because it was soo spicy. it took me less than 10 minutes after eating there to be in the bathroom. I don't even consider it food. if you want good halal food in Chicago, however, go to Reza's restaurant they have dishes in addition to buffet, and their food is amazing, and Rezas is in a good location. Devon was very dirty and stinky, ill never go there again
