    This was EXTREMELY helpful. I obtained a well-used cart just like yours and wanted to replace the pneumatic tires with no-flat rigid tires and could NOT extricate the tire from the axle. Couldn’t find a manual to see how it was constructed so your video answered those questions. I just need to apply more “muscle” to pull the tire from the axle. Here goes.......the thing was free so if I can’t get it off, nothing spent yet - nothing lost yet.👍

    I bought this 2 days ago and just got around to putting it together. Took one look at the instructions and said no I'm going to UA-cam. Your video was the first one I saw to make sure you didn't talk rocket science over my head. I put my wagon together based on your video including the wheel modifications. Thank you so much for this video

      Good deal Delores! Glad the video was helpful. Mine is still holding up well after all these years. It lives outside and the only thing I've had to do is patch the tubes. Good luck, G.

    Thank you so much for this video! My instructions for my landworks wagon were useless. Your instructions made it so much easier to figure out how to assemble my wagon. I wish I had watched your video before I opened up the screws and bolts, marking the numbers on the paper would have been helpful, but I had already opened the package & had screws, washers and bolts everywhere.

    Nice price on what appears to be a good versatile wagon. Appreciate the build video with the suggested mods for safety and usability. With rails down looks like the wheels will scrape on the side rails if overturning but still very useful wagon! Good luck on the property wall renovation. Thanks for sharing.

    • @ghostses
      @ghostses  10 років тому

      Thanks Mac. I thought is was a fair price to save tons of heavy carrying. The wheels do rub when turning, but the sides just move out of the way. It doesn't seem to bind up when pulling it around. Lots of work to do with removing the wall, but this should help out greatly. Take care, G.

    • @ghostses
      @ghostses  10 років тому

      Update Mac. When I was testing it out, I did not have the front rail folded down- just the sides. With the front rail up, it does rub and move the sides out of the way. But, with the front folded down, the cutout in the front rail limits the steering so the wheels do not rub. It does reduce the turn radius with the front down though. G.

    Thanks for this video ! There were no reviews online for this, so your video was very helpful. One thing I want to modify right away, I want to be able to attach the handle to my riding mower. Some of the other carts sold allow the handle to be used either way. Shouldn't be hard though.

    • @ghostses

      No problem Mark! Glad it was helpful. Yeah, it shouldn't be too hard to modify it for your application. Good luck with your project, G.

    We had something similar to that. It was so cheaply made. I can't believe we kept it. The wheels bowed out both horizontally and vertically. Everything was loose right out of the box too. Yours looks better built. We paid over double what you paid for yours.

    • @ghostses
      @ghostses  10 років тому +1

      I haven't put a load on it yet, but it seems like it will hold up fairly well. I'm not going to test it with a ton though...lol. I bet I couldn't even move it with that much weight. G.

    • @Lanninglongarmmowing
      @Lanninglongarmmowing 10 років тому

    These little carts are excellent for doing the around the house jobs and more. I have one of these but unfortunately, I did not get the deal you got....! I've had it for over 10 years now and use it behind my 16hp twin horse I rebuilt about the same time. Good to hear from you G...! I'm sure, this machine will serve you well. It looks tough for sure my friend.

      It's sure going to save my back for sure! It's doubling as a wagon for the child as well...lol. I'm still around but have been really busy. And it's going to get worse next week. Take care Bain, G.

    I can think of a lot of jobs I could use one of those for if I pulled it behind my mower. I bought a tipping trailer a couple of years ago that is a good job but your cart would make loading bags easier. Sale time coming...I think I'll be on the lookout.
    Best Wishes, Brendan.

    • @ghostses
      @ghostses  10 років тому

      Thanks Brendan. I could have used it tons by now. I usually use a wheel barrow, but it's hard to put some things in it- not unlike your tow behind- and is difficult to move around odd loads. I think with all of the gardening you do, getting one of these would be a great thing for you to have. Good luck, G.

    My box arrived completely torn up; heavy items inside were allowed to move around; the "Parts Container" was found burst open, scattering small parts everywhere. Open inspection of the "Parts Container" it was found that one (1) Spring Washer (part #21) is missing from the kit.
    Eight (8) baggy ties, and one additional layer of cardboard around the inside-edge of the box would have prevented the above issue.
    Note the "Plastic Coupling" (part #19) is still loosely fitting and not drilled correctly, no Bolt/Nut/Washer is provided to properly attach. As shown in your video, use "Duct-Tape" to remove play from the handle assembly.

    • @ghostses
      @ghostses  8 років тому +1

      +Schpankme Verimuch
      Well that's not cool- to have it arrive with a bashed box and contents strewn about. I picked up mine locally and didn't have that problem.
      I guess they're not listening/watching since the coupling is still not correct, and that it's not drilled correctly. Tape does solve the problem with excessive play, but it shouldn't be required IMO. But overall, and for the cost, it's been working well for me. Once you use it for a bit, please feedback with your overall impression. Good luck and take care, G.

      This Jumbo Wagon is the perfect tool for moving Firewood from the Wood Pile up to the house. The fold down sides make loading and unloading very easy; we use the Wagon to carry and store the nightly Firewood, wheeling it directly into the house; in the morning it goes back down for more Firewood.
      Thanks for the Video.

    Good instructions. I dont have anything that i havent modified. Even if it's as simple as using different nuts. It annoys my wife no end. I can see a day when you replace that piece of plastic with a 2x4.
    I would make sure the inside of the metal it rubs against is perfectly smooth and keep it well lubed.
    Thanks. Heading to Northern Tool...

      Thanks Alan! LOL, me too. So far the plastic piece is still in good shape- but you and I both know it's just a matter of time. I will be fixing it at some point for sure. This wagon has lived outside for about 4yrs and has held up really well. Good luck with yours, G.

    Just bought the wagon from Northern Tool, got the same deal. What a bargain at $79. Great video, never once looked at the instructions, so much easier to follow what you were doing-Thanks so much for posting it. By the way, the axles are now threaded correctly and everything fits great. Sorry you had to go through that experience. The only negative is the smell,whether its the tires or they spray it with some kind of protectant, but its pretty nasty. Did you have this problem and is there a way to get rid of it? If anyone can answer I'd sure appreciate it. But again, the video is a real timesaver so I thank you again.

    • @ghostses
      @ghostses  8 років тому

      That's cool Richard! I'm glad the video was useful. Good to hear they've corrected the problem with the axles. Oh, the smell!!! LOL. It's coming from the tires and it will go away over time- probably a week or two. The HF stores smell like this really bad. It's something related to the manufacturing process on the rubber goods. It's some kind of off-gassing I would guess. Good luck, G.

    Isn't it telling how Chinese assembly instructions are always missing just that last piece, or just that little important detail ? As a teacher, I find that characteristic in Chinese background students - they have a recessive gene that makes them inveterate short-cutters - to their cost.
    Maybe if Chinese copy assault rifles were made to the same standard as the cart, with similarly deficient assembly instructions, there wouldn't be as many crazy types, running around all parts of the Middle East like at present, spraying 7.62mm rounds into the air.
    Great review. Thanks for sharing.

      That's a good idea Ed! Not sure of the HF carts "true" capacity, or this one for that matter, but I can say I've had 900lbs on this cart and it held it just fine. It was 10 90lb bags of stucco mix. Mind you I didn't go too far with the load, and it certainly wasn't fun to move, but it held up just fine. Hope this give you some idea for your use. Good luck, G.

    We can't count the number of times that both harbor freight and northerntool sold us a bunch of made in china, hong kong, india, etc garbage.... wrong and missing fasteners, items dented or flat out broke right out of the box, holes drilled so far off that we couldn't line them up to get a bolt through them, drill motors that started smoking within days of normal use, hyped up descriptions on what the item is capable of doing such as the weight it will handle, and otherwise EXTREMELY POOR lack of quality control thus not getting the quality we were told.
    Would easily rather pay a little more for something that's going to do what it's supposed to versus how much of our time they have wasted through us driving back out to return items and being on the phone with their customer service to set up the return for the items all the while we need to get the job done and now have to go through hassle and time/delays of trying to get what they said would be a quality item but at less cost!

    • @ghostses
      @ghostses  6 років тому

      I've had pretty good luck with both places- but have had things I need to correct for sure. I agree though- if two pieces with holes are supposed to line up- they should. Some things are so simple it's hard to believe they can't make them right. Good luck, G.
