Hay Sam, Have been keeping up with your videos as you put them out but not the comments so playing catch up hahah. Loved this video, so calm & relaxing & what beautiful scenery. It's so different down your way compared to our neck of the woods. Keep up the awesome work xx
Thank you so much for watching! Yes, its certainly a beautiful part of the world. Snakes don't bother me, but having said that I am always mindful of them. I make a bit of noise through grass etc, and if I'm doing a lot of off trail or in the warmer months, I'll wear my gaiters.
Wonderful video! I encourage anyone to visit the Australian Dingo Foundation's Discovery Sanctuary and Research Centre in Toolern Vale, Victoria. (If you go in August/Sept, you can book in to play with the dingo puppies and help socialise them.) It's a real pity that they don't leave the hut open like the Scottish bothies. Would be great for stranded or weary hikers for shelter.
Thank you, much appreciated! Thanks also on the information regarding the Dingo Sanctuary. Yeah, I was kind of surprised that the hut wasn't open, like many in the Alpine regions. Thanks for watching!
Sam, fabulous video and images put together in wonderful pieces of work. Your developed photography skills certainly make your videos stand out. You go girl 😎😎😎😎
Fabulous adventure Sam. Nature is amazing. Love the suspense. It would have been difficult to find them without getting lost 😉 The sounds of the dingoes are very cool
Thanks Fi! Yeah, it is pretty difficult terrain to get around when off trail. I agree, pretty darn exciting, even if I didn't get to see them; just knowing that they are out there! 😁
Well done on our adventure. I love that area and that hut looks super cosy! Would be great to spend a night in there. The story of the alpine dingos is pretty special as well!
Okay , you convinced me , I have to go . What’s the best place to start ? And when is the best time of the year to do the hike. I live in Tasmania at the moment. 💕
Haha, thanks Denise. Any time is a great time, however if you aren't experienced in snow conditions, the 'green' season is best, from October through to April. There will also be wildflowers in Spring and Summer. I have been up in October and there had been a snowfall, so always be prepared. The start of this trail is from the Mt Erica carpark. Thanks so much for watching! 🙂
Thật là thích chuyến đi bộ thám hiểm của bạn, những nơi thật là tuyệt vời, cảm ơn bạn chia sẽ video, chúc bạn vui khoẻ!

Great video. Nice to see some familiar scenery from a video I just uploaded (as well as bird sounds). Can't believe you heard that howling! Cheers
Thanks so much Eamon! Yeah, I cant believe I heard it either, especially in the middle of the day. I'll check out your video. 🙂
