This is by far my favorite song and I live in a place where good music doesn't really exist. This song reminds me of my grandfather. He was a true cowboy. R.I.P grandpa. God bless everyone who still believes, loves, and/or is/was a cowboy/cowgirl.

I saw 'Fargo' filmed when I visiting a pen friend (real paper letters). She had a buddy who worked on the set so we went there to watch it for a bit. It was as cold, icy and the landscape as white as in the movie. For a German it was impressive how disciplined everyone worked, with fun, while I had, used to European winter, the feeling I died slowly in the cold. Watching the movie today I still freeze my fat old ass off.
These are very powerful systems.. motion picturesand rock music they can invoke .. usually temporary but strong feelings of allegiance or admiration for types of men... Jesus is a true man follow him...

Lou Diamond Phillip as a Mexican American Indian reflected everything i internalized about being judged by Mexicans, Whites and Natives about my blood, heart and spirit... i am Yaqui, Navajo, Apache, Mexican mutt mixed Spaniard. i still follow some native traditions whether other see me as a native or not.
I'm Cherokee, Shoshone and Comanche and a hell of amount of European and I stand with my ancestors but I hate to tell you this Lou is from the Philippines and I'm not really sure how much of the blood you stated runs through his vains although he holds it proudly which I forever love him for and that makes him a brother of our people.
And to think, Estevez originally asked Bon Jovi for permission to use this song on the Young Guns 2 soundtrack, but Jovi didn't feel the lyrics fit (okay?), so he instead wrote "Blaze of Glory", which is also great. But it's nice to finally see this song realized for Young Guns. Good job!

as far as historical accuracy i think this movie gets the majority of it right. Sure there's some drama and action added in to make it more appealing to the viewer. But for the most part all the events in both the original and sequel actually did happen. A lot of the Billy the Kid fables came from Pat Garrett himself.
The part where their horses went over that high ridge Lou Diamond Phillips broke his arm cause he wanted to do the stunt, they had to stop filming Till he was good to go again

My grandfather was a historian for a very long time for New Mexico and I heard stories of Billy the Kid and the Lincoln County War all the time
