The Paradigm Shift bonus DVD includes information on Head's return to the band and how it all came to happen - Special thanks to George Paul for the information, I some how forgot myself.
There is also debate over whether Head sings, provides backup vocals or isn't featured at all on Jingle Balls, of which I'll admit I'm not sure of either - I was thinking of Low Rider when I made the comment in the video and cannot confirm either way who provided the majority of the vocals on Jingle Balls.
korn III is referred as 3 because it was the 3rd album produced by Ross Robinson who produced the first 2 albums (apparently)
Yeah forgot to mention that, they do speak of how it sounds like the third in their heavy trilogy though. Which I never understood since 'Take a Look in the Mirror' is one of their heaviest albums to date in my opinion.
I heard it was that and because there was only three original members of the band too that date.
I thought it was because it went Korn, Untitled so then korn 3 came next
the paradigm shift bonus content...is a documentary about how everything fell into place for head rejoining the band.
Thanks for this man, will add it to the description with credit to you. I'm still face-palming over how I forgot to pronounce it! haha
Glad to help and when it comes to KoRn ill help anybody lol have a good one.
very nice KoRn Kollection!
Thanks! Although trust me, there's much larger ones than mine out there! This is simply all I could afford without bankrupting myself!
Life is Peachy has a Deluxe Edition with Bonus Disc with Live Tracks, Issues also comes with All Mixed Up and there is also a European Issues Cover Art; There is also a World Tour Edition from Paradigm Shift
Great band, and great collection!
Proud that I have my collection also of KoRn CDs and cassette tapes.
Life is peachy had a limited 24kt gold disk release exclusively in Australia
extra info: the path of loyality DVD is a 2 hours show film in a field with no crowd, life is peachy have a deluxe edition with 3 extra track, the paragrim shift DVD is the whole story about the comeback of head in korn, the serenity of suffering japan edition have 1 extra track, also a tour edition was released with a extra CD
Thanks for this Alex :) Hope you enjoyed the video none-the-less.
this vid made me miss my collection especially see you on the other side the case was so unique. lost all my korn albums over the years due to partying and my ex taking my cd case when she left me...
That sucks man :( back in my younger years partying and girlfriends started eating in to my collection too. I built it back up over the years and now no one is touching it!
0:44 looks like a mousepad
Untouchables epic álbum
Somethings to look up for you collection is korn live, blind & demo, I found it a a record/cd store in L.A. It has a load of alternate and rough tracks from the first album!
I also have 3 of the for variant covers for issues
I have all 5 covers for issues
life is peachy have a extra CD (already mentioned in the comments)
issues (also had all mixed up with is 500 first copies)
untouchable (they are another version that come with a remix of here to stay)
path of totality (the live DVD is a full show recorded in a crop circle around 2 hours long)
the paradigm shift DVD is about the return of brian ''head'' welch in the band and the making of the album
if you pause the video at 12:48 you can clearly read the titles (for the proud album)
unplugged (they are 3 extra song release in mp3)
14:29 CD 1 is entirely sing by michael 5000 watts (not korn)
15:25: the show on the bonus DVD and the first 7 songs of live & rare are from the same show
16:02: some blu-rays don't play nothing (blu-ray skip infinitely)
16:41: they are korn songs and queen of the damned songs also
There actually is kind of a deluxe version of FTL, it’s called the Quarn box
I have the album Issues with an alternate cover, i think it's the european tour cover
To be fair the new album "Serenity of Suffering" does have a pretty big box set available, with all sorts of bonus content. Comes in a treasure chest box thing with the doll and other circus themed goodies. The one you got is just the "special" edition put together to entice people to buy the CD over downloading it.
To be fair I do mention all of that in the video ;)
Nice, love your channel!
Sweet, I'm gonna post a collection video soon! Just waiting on one more package. I have everything you have plus almost all of the CD singles, most cassettes and some vinyl.
Fantástic!!! Long life Korn!
Di3go Kost3l@... 🤘😎🖤🎸🎵🎹
i have pretty much all the same stuff you do but where did you get the steel case Korn album?
You know I honestly can't remember, most likely eBay, Amazon or Discogs - if I can't find it on one of those three I usually don't bother, all I know is I've never seen it since!
It's interesting that 'all mixed up' comes with K1, because originally it was with Issues. I have a 2CD version of Issues, same cover as yours, most likely the Australian variant.
My FTL discs also look way nicer than yours.. both discs, odd.
I think it probably came with Issues, I probably just put it in the self titled tin to keep it safe while moving house or something.
i love korn ;3 my favs
hey. i recently found the issues cover with the shadow figure and chopped screwed live and unglued. both for under £5.
All Mixed up originally came with the Issues pre-release.
Fuck what the other fans think, Untitled is a godly album.
very cool
awesome
Thats cool you have all of the albums
I have a Limited Edition Follow the Leader that was exclusive to Australia or something. I got it imported, so there is an extra 'bigger' version on top of the of the main release and the other limited release. It has the remixes on it and the Korn TV CD ROM video on it. The Korn TV stuff is awesome. I watched it to death and is mostly them recording FTL pretty much and then jamming with Steve Vai and some stuff with Limp Bizkit. Its superb.
Limited Untitled is so cool
Where to find the 20th anniversary edition of self title that you show in this video
Anyone have info on the tin case version of Korn's self titled and where I can find it?
Great video it really got me into this band!
Wow, bold claim. If that's true then I'm really happy for you. With what? 13 albums it's safe to say you have music that will last you a long, long time!
Got the LIVE
I was importing untitled to iTunes and one title said Korn II so imported it as that then all the names of the songs were replaced by Korn III titles
u have cassete bro
3 i think that also could be the 3rd one with Ross Robinson
WOW, you are THE real KORN fan. You have all of their CDs and most of them are limited editions... WOW!
Haha thanks buddy, I assure you there's people out there with MUCH larger collections than myself. Given the funds though, I'd have a lot more impressive things to show. I am a big Korn fan though.
i have all 4 covers of Issues. i didn't pay more than 5 bucks for each one of them.
When, Where and How!?!
I live in America. I just found them at a few different used stores about a few years ago.
I can get them for less than 8 at a local record store and on the website discogs
What about paradigm shift world tour edition
That's a good question actually, the world tour edition had its own bonus and live tracks, but was missing the deluxe edition bonus tracks and the additional dvd. So it's really down to preference which one you consider more special. I'll end up with both eventually but right now I prefer the deluxe edition.
Ok thanks
And the world tour edition of life is peachy
There's another album called Korn Collected which includes mainly singles but some lesser know songs from the albums
Yes, I mention in the video that I'd only be reviewing a single greatest hits/best of CD. Korn have about 7 or 8.
gOt ThE lIfE lIvE
All mixed up came with a special edition of issues...
I want that steel tin though.
Makes sense ya know, probably why I put it in the self-titled box so it had somewhere it could sit. So yeah, for people reading this - technically you did see the limited edition of Issues, just in two parts! =P
Opium Pulses That's how I got mine anyway. It is a pain it's in that cardboard slip.
2:58 This guy: But they cost alot.
Me: I got two of those special covers for 25 CAD for both. Not that expensive. LOL
I now have all 5 cover art editions of Issues, which feature in video 3 of our Korn series here: ua-cam.com/video/D14nsOA3Dew/v-deo.html
@@OpiumPulses oh whaattt you replied damn i didnt even notice
I Don't Have The Standered Issues. But I Have The cover with The Chalk Kids And The One with The Swed Up Dolls.
I got the brad cover
Can you burn me a copy of the proud cd how much PLEASE
Did he say Fieldy was singing at one point and if he did what album was it off of
This was in relation to Head, who sings on the track Low Rider. However I incorrectly state in video he sang Jingle Balls, which is a common misunderstanding. I correct this in the description.
Opium Pulses ok thanks man
Sorry, there are 5 version of Issues. I have the 5 official releases. One is rarer than Rocking Horse Shit as far as I am aware. The rarest thing that I have on top of that is a 1 of only 100 Whitfield Mastering Studios Issues UK pre-release. I got it just after the main release from my local store who somehow got hold of it. It was expensive even at the time of release.
life is peachy had cd/DVD content which was a clean version of the a.d.i.d.a.s. music video
Who wants a clean version of any Korn song? lol - That's interesting though, might have a look around for it.
Opium Pulses I agree I was let down when I checked it out due to clean lyrics, but still liked getting to watch it.
Some of the fan made Issue covers aren't very rare. They're on discogs for $5
top 3 fave korn songs ??
Holy crap that's gonna be a tough one to answer off the top of my head! Tell you what, I'll keep a conscious reminder of your question and get back to you next time I have a KoRn binge!
Yeah, way too hard. But I must say "Trash" is one of them. I also highly recommend "Beg For Me".
Do a tool album
Ps I never complain about getting extras ha ha.
really cool collection i once drew munky getting his head cut off as my art project in school i got an A+ for perspective and shading.
Awesome, that's nice work. Still got it? I'd love to see it!
@@OpiumPulses lost it when I moved.
This i see before in another chanel
all mixed up est dans l album ISSUES en France
Huh, maybe it was a French exclusive then? Pretty cool.
;)
I thought he would've had 'The Essential: Korn' album you know just have it
I do have it, along with every other best of released. But as I say in the video, I only showed the one Greatest Hits album as Korn have so many best of CDs in circulation that you could almost do a video on those compilations alone. I chose to show the one I did because 1. it was endorsed by the band while they were still on the label and 2. because it had a special edition release which I was able to show.
EDIT: Episode 2 is now out which shows off all five of Korn's other best of albums and also easter egg hints to the next two videos that would follow: ua-cam.com/video/GDHrfHibcaM/v-deo.html
The *PARA* *DIME* That's how you pronounce it.
This guy reminds me of ashens aha
I gave you a thumbs down because the few things I noticed 1 korn III came with a limited edition poster signed by all three members at the time hot topic exclusive drop the see you on the other side had a live dvd THE OTHER SIDE PERFORMANCE DVD for the album tease party and the chopped and screwed was performed by DJ Mike watts (he’s a big in his own rights) also you didn’t include neidemiers mind
And you didn’t mention the CBGB performance but that was a free show in a really rare small venue that’s closed now.
Hi Verbalassault87, thanks for sharing your knowledge. Please bear in mind that exclusive items vary depending on where records are bought, we live in the UK and I know for a fact our special editions vary a lot to releases in other countries. Besides that fact though, it's not always easy to remember every fine detail at the time of recording, I'm only human. Others have politely pointed out my mistakes without rating down the video. But I respect your freedom of choice to do so and take your feedback on board, I try to improve where I can and our viewers have taught me things I hadn't known before. I hope you took something away from the video. Stay safe.
Not much of a fan then? Not knowing how to say Paradigm and not knowings whats on the DVD? Really? lol. Nice collection though.
Haha, I won't say I didn't deserve that. In reality I've been a massive Korn fan for around 15 years now, the Paradigm Shift just felt very uninspired to me and so I didn't really pay it all that much attention. The pronunciation was a complete brain burp though, I'd done 5 other videos that day and was tired. Glad you enjoyed it though :)
I just uploaded my Korn collection I gave you a shout out, check it out
I hate Untitled. The special edition looks like shit on the shelf, and doesn't sit along the other albums all that well. Fairly fitting, since Korn really seemed to stumble on it musically. It had some good tracks, but it was a bad place for them creatively.
i stopped listening to korn after take a look in the mirror
Carried on watching videos on them though eh?
Only Korn albums are good are first two. Slipknot over Korn all day
Have you heard anything from Take a Look in the Mirror?
"Issues" kicks major ass. As well as "Untouchables". I didn't buy them until recently because I thought "Follow The Leader" sucked so bad.
