I think that describes most redbar listeners. He goes after so many people, it would be weird if you didn't like anyone at all, at any point in time. lol. I know a lot of the listeners are misanthropic but even they probably have 1-2 public people they kind of like that mike disses.
I think a lot of Mike's audience (including me) liked a lot of these people at one point or another for whatever reason. I grew out of it. A lot of people I know didn't. I still like theo and a few of the other fools but Mike's mockery is refreshing when I mostly hear people just mindlessly gushing. I think a lot of redbars listeners feel the same way I do. Even when Mike's reaching or making fun of someone I like, I think he's pretty funny and entertaining with it.
Yeah, this is all just hilarious. I love most comics he mocks (even ones who aren't actually that good), but how can you not enjoy this?

He avoids having to self-censor by self-hosting, not having ads, etc; which is something none of these other guys would ever do, as it would be taking a pay cut. That being said, whether or not there’s a show for a while, I’m beyond fine with subscribing and supporting Redbar…it’s worth it. Give it a year.
