- What are rubber trees used for?
About 70 per cent of natural latex is used for tyres. Other products made of natural rubber are e.g. mattresses, shoe soles, hot water bottles, balloons, rubber boots and seal rings etc. Natural rubber can be substituted by synthetic rubber for some applications.

We all know that we don’t have any satellite channel to spread this kind of messages to people in our state so since our channel is watched by many at the moment we take up these projects to spread awareness. It might not be important for some so excuse us for that but through our channel if it can benefit some people then that’s the most important thing.
so many likes in just a minute...😱😱😱
Keep it up your good works from Mokokchung here☺️
I like lobor plantation
We love you dreamz unlimited...
Great job du
Reminds me of my father's rubber farm 17 years ago which was burned down by nearby farmers saying its affecting their land and crops.
That's so sad to know
Sad
Its sad to hear that. But it does affects the soil/land after 8-10years of plantation. For example, landslides on hilly regions.
@@thefallen2512 I hope so
No offence but that’s how almost our Naga people pronounce and spell the way they pronounce it.
Rupper instead of Rubber.

This is a really good one _Dreamz Unlimited.👌🏻 A very good lesson too for everyone. The knowledge we gain from a single video is amazing. This rubber plantation video reminded me of the time when I was in a small village trying to learn this Rubber Plantation. And I've learned alot.😇
Thank you for making this video.👍🏻

I m very impress..u guys r too good.Now I understand about rubber plan and it's my future plan..thanking u all..
Silonijan reminds me of my childhood days when i use to travel from bus and stop there to have food.
LRD promotes rubber farming but in actual, rubber plants do affect the growth of nearby plants. It inhibits the growth of other plants but I believe with good strategy of using the land, rubber can be grown alongside other vegetation

It’s always good stuffs yeah! One of the reason why I always hunt for more!
It will also be good if the drawbacks and disadvantages of rubber plantation can be highlighted. It also effects the environment in various ways. Knowing both positive and negative impact is important before getting into anything.
Exactly. We nagas are so gullible
We think a government sponsored video is whole fact and true.

Rubber plantation is very common in the villages especially in plain areas. It's not an easy task but once it's extracted out from its bark it is to dried it and flattened them with designs

Head to toes only 90's Kids will remembered these acts.... DU... Thanks for reminding my past.... Haha
Yes rubber cultivation have supported millions of household. And I support its plantation, but a mixed pattern of plantation will be a batter option.
Momo crop pattern utilized in this method make the forest more prone to fire, storm, climate change, pest attack, lack of land fertility and other diseases. This is because, the removal of the other species from the forest have destabilized the symbiotic relation with in the forest. These poorly understood relation between the different flora and fauna by the people with in a forest resulted in the downfall of productivity of the forest as well as depletion of the forest itself.
A forest with multiple species is more likely to live/ withstand the nature where as a forest with a single species is more prone to the natural threats.
The best among all of nagas video till date👍👍👍
Great message to the educated unemployed youth in nagaland.
Well, good initiatives from LRD, I am 43 and till date I or my kins, as far as I know didn't get any benefit from LRD for the last 13 to 43 years 😁😁

U have missed the most important message of rubber plantation..
Due to excessive rubber plantation ..the ground water level is going down...
The plant absorbs excessive ground water
Very true
So many naga rubber planters can't even sell their rubber lol.
It's call resource war. If an hostile region produces enough crops and could threaten the economy of the surrounding states encourage them to grow rubber, jute, bamboo etc. Buy them at above the market value price. It will encourage them to plant even more. Once they start planting more enough to feed an entire industry then stop buying from them. A war won without moving a single soldier.
Stop planting rubber.
A society who doesn't believes in the power of manufacturing will perish.
Another fake Bothany graduate
@@yangrilaasherkikon4046 lol truth hurt... isn't it? Bothany .. seriously 😂
how stupid can a person be. you blame plants for environmental issues and dont see pollution caused by us and our vehicles. All plants drain water be it rubber or a mango tree

Rubber cultivation is not an easy task. It's an labour intensive activity , it required proper skills , also lot of hard work for the whole labour process starting from maintenance of plantation, tapping to making of rubber sheets. Thanks for the video, I appreciate the idea of spreading the awareness on rubber cultivation in Northeast. Moreover, my research area is also on, the indigenous women rubber tappers in Tripura. Indeed, this video is relevant and I could relate to it.
Who else does rubber work daily, give it a like 😂😂
I got Chu...🤣
I have in my hometown 😂😂
Daily.. no way. Lol
I have planted 2k in the year 2013..but I think 4-500 trees died ..but still no income no tapping started 😥😥

Dreamz unlimited the best👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯
Very nice..I am big fan of your channel.Love from Assam😊
In my area people are focusing more on Tea garden as it have higher income.
You can pluck the leaves once in every week and it costs Rs 20 or above per KG.
(just sharing my opinion)
Yeah but it's xo hard to maintain ☕ 🏡
You will start earning from the first year itself in a tea Garden unlike rubber which takes 7-8 years. And if you have a big plot of land you will earn lakhs every week.
Yes..tea plantation is far better than rubber plantation. This days people have started cutting down the rubber trees as they cannot maintain the expenses involved.
Dreamz unlimited ...thnq I learn lots from u.
I m so glad this channel make such informative videos..If this video helps even one family.. it will be a great succes..

That Black Tea part was just awesome 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I was eagerly waiting for the wife to come out and scold kokai 😂😂
I'm skeptical about promoting rubber plantation, though it may be profitable to the owners. Look at its effects on indigenous communities of Cambodia, Laos, etc. The risk of environmental affects of mono cropping should also be considered
Same here.... I recently happened to have a conversation with a colleague of mine from Kerala regarding the flood in the state and in the conversation he was talking about how rubber plantation in Kerala effected the ecosystem.....
We cant take dreamz Unlimited as the ultimate truth or as a source of journalism.
They are sponsored.
Eg. In this video, by the GON.
Somewhat propaganda-ish.
In this day and age, we should all be talking about sustainable economic, state development and not just 'development'.
I love dreamz unlimited group every video makes me happy Tq to director n god bless u all
From a keralite to everyone out there,Stay away from rubber tree plantation,it may sound very lucrative. But it sucks up water destroys other flora.we did a huge mistake hope u do not.
Love from Kerala.
And we have started clearing rubber and planting other trees.
We learned the lessons the hard way.(droughts and landslide everywhere).
But for some Kerala people they have already build emperors from this plantation.
Twist of role, Rev. Fredericks is no more the naughty one 😁😁..
Thank you for the education DU, God bless 👍
Rubber plantation is good and you also said that the rich people let other farmers take care of their farm and they dont pay attention and the farmers ended up getting huge profit which I think is really good for whoever it may be...Its a win-win.
You guys are just awesome...keep uploading new videos...love from Assam
never knew they came on bike though🤣.. rubber farm need lots of hardwork cash and attention
Eh we have a small land in village, we planted rubber, it's been years of spending money on it now, but aro bishi sal lagibo for it's fruit and we heard there's not much profit in rubber now and the demand for tea leaves is much higher than rubber . :/
Appreciate such farmers....they really do hard work
Am always late😄
Anyways cheers to @Dreamz unlimited 😇💞
yes rubber plantation is very profitable, ours is 6acers and estimated profit is about 40-49 lacs per year. only thing is it takes 7-8 years for it to mature to start cultivating the rubber
With even 30 acres u won't earn 40 laks ...i have around 2000 trees around 10 acres ,my annual income is just around 3.5-4lks per year
@@RandomvidsNoms I think ur getting ripped off
Before tripura was cool suitable temperature but now temperature is increasing like hell because of rubber tree for earning money Rubber plantation is good 😛
love from tripura Dreamz Unlimited ✌
lol i also own a rubber plantation and the first time i actually work there i did the same mistake just like the boy here and fipped all the bowls collecting the sap straight, my father scolded me bcus it was meant to be on the side after tapping lmao. btw just a tip for the gentleman owning the plantation, always do the tapping early in the morning bcus it produces more at that time compared to doing it at noon. the best time to cut for tapping is at 2am - 3am. but we do it at 4-5am bcus thats too early even for the workers to start working
over interesting watching dreams unlimited videos .... love it ❤ 💕
The only setback is initial struggle for rubber plantation as it requires approx 5-6 yrs for its maturity till it can be yield and it requires huge chunk of land that too a major problem for poor people to get a sustainable income.i worked in agri dept so i have little knowledge regarding its feasibility.its good for those who have long term goals but in todays fast phase life i am not sure if todays youth can really adopt this as a profession.but i encourage those who really wants to take the challenge.
Always enjoyed your video. Dreamz unlimited is the Best..
