- Having recently recovered from an accident which cost her her leg, Julie Bennett (Stefanie Reid) is set on getting her old life back. And for Julie, competitive running is life.
After finding the courage to approach George Hart, a respected trainer, she asks to join his team of professional runners, lying to him and herself by hiding her disability.
But how long can she keep up appearances, and at what cost?
This acclaimed short film starring paralympic champion Stefanie Reid is based on her own lived experience as an athlete with a disability.

Hello, I'm the filmmaker. Can I ask what class are you guys in and what's the 'activity'?
Not that believable...I think there is a large learning curve to run on a blade...and the recovery time from the fall would have been longer...not what I had hoped for. Maybe in a full length movie it could have been shown with a more likely timeline...😕
Hi, yes you are right about the time frame but unfortunately I was limited by the format of a short film. I tried to address this with the time lapse in the arena, suggesting time has jumped forwards but evidently that wasn't enough ;)
