Hi I live in the Uk and have just subscribed to you channel. Very new to DCC and decoders and just loaded Decoder Pro so hope your channel will help me to progress.
Anyway I'm 74 in a couple of weeks so things take a while to sink in. Looking forward to following your channel.
    Regards Chris

Well, you only have a few years on me. As far as I’m concerned you’re never too old to learn. Do some reading and watch my intro videos on CVs and DCC.

I wanted to ask, i rescently purchased the ps4, and am using the decoder pro programming. I have a had purchased a programming booster, the "power pax." Is that something i can use in the programming process? I dont know if youve cover that or not, but i am loving this series. Thank you!

The Power Pax boosts the programming signal and can be useful with sound decoders which can suck up current due to their on board capacitors. I have at times shown the Soundtrax PB100 which is another type of power booster used when programming some decoders and is the one I occasionally use. In general these devices came into use when sound decoders were first hitting the market and we had problems programming them. However for the most part manufacturers have made adjustments and you may not need one.
