Don't be blinded by their sweet talking.
Check their Actions, check their votes.
Labour needs Bercow, he is the only one with true charisma and integrity
What a turncoat. In Australian politics we call people "rats" and not a chap to be trusted going from right wing to left wing
Everyone has the right to change their mind, as they grow up and mature! Some people can never do this of course…….
@@MicheleLLOYD-bk2mt True, but going to the dark side of politics from the right side is so wrong and shows his lack of moral compass
Outstanding. So glad to see this man back in the public eye. Xx
Are you on drugs?
Me too.
Really?
Yep. A good man, intelligent, eloquent and principled.
@@dreamer2260 A rare commodity these days. Xx
Such an orator.
Id vote for him an honorary man and a dam good speaker not like useless and toothless speaker we. Have now
Good interview. Answered every question (despite being spoken over a couple times).
It was a dreadful interview. And why is he being interviewed? Hes not a politician anymore, just a man whos changed his allegiance and this is apparently newsworthy. Id rather Sky interview our representatives than this berk.
I’d take him as my leader of labour any day! Perfect orator
Interviewers should be banned under British law from interrupting for the first minute after asking a question.
And that would bugger the BBC up.
love bercow - best speaker ever.
definitely best at being blatantly biased pro-EU and anti-democracy.
@@ab-jx4qs no mate, referenda are advisory, not binding. Scrutiny and debate were necessary. He enabled that.
Opinions are allowed to be changed in light of new information.
I'm more concerned for the ones that don't want to change in light of new info.
he made a better speaker than Hoyle, that's for sure.
We need another Boothroyd+ with this government. Hoyle is useless.
Hoyle is not a bad speaker, he just has less charisma than Bercow so gets overshadowed.
I have even more respect for Mr Bercow. I to was a member of the conservative party here in America. But that party has lost it's way and I refuse to be a enabler. Trump Johnson two sides of the same coin.
If you have respect for Mr Bercow please stay in America.
We are not America. He is joining a party that has never even had a female leader, the Conservatives have had two Prime Ministers.

@@wakey87 Both of them lousy...nothing to do with gender - just poor leaders. The point I am making is that your statement is irrelevant.
He needs to become labour’s next leader.
Good idea! Should keep em out for a few years longer!
@@oliverhardy34 very cool Wendy.
He'd be perfect labour leader, a failed Lord
Bring back Corbyn maybe?
He will be the last nail in the Labour coffin, and I say that as a lifelong Union member.
Remember, like Starmer, he is a Remainer, and worse for Labour, he is a rejoinder, and is using Labour to get his peerage.
Labour voters are not all rejoiners, so he will have lost Labour votes right away within his own party members , never mind those Labour voters who drifted away and voted Tory.
I want to see a functional opposition to the Conservatives, and a opposition that has a leader that can be seen by the voters as a possible PM.
That is NOT Bercow.
Love him as leader of the Labour party. Possibly I would support labour again.
Love me a bit of Bercow. Best speaker ever.
🤪🤪🤪
John Bercow. Loves the sound of his own voice. About time someone spoke over him. What a vile creature. I wish he would crawl under some rock and stay there.
Just when the lab Party thought things couldn't get any worse
I certainly don't want labour in government
What a good man 👏👏👏
What ?? . .
Yep. He's got integrity.
That answer about Matt Hancock was absolutely sublime 😂😂
Very witty.
Loved that too
@Amanda Hughes And yet they keep him in post.
@@heliotropezzz333 they do that so he has no true power to rebel.
Bercow: "It was something that changed in me. I discovered I was straight after all."
Personally I wish he'd joined the Lib-Dems. The centre is more likely to hold rather than anachronism that is labour ( as is the anachronism of the tory party as BlueKip)
I adore this man. So wonderful too see this.
I want to see him as the UK PM!
Like Boris, and Starmer and the rest of the U.K.party leaders, he is a complete prat.
❤️ John Bercow!!!🌹
Ample of hope for labor..
bercow owill be british primer
Mark my words.....
I wish
We always knew he was not a conservative.
Another huge nail in Labours coffin.
Sad really
Anything better than voting for Tory
In what way?
Traitor to his party Traitor to his country.
I would vote for Bercow, in a heartbeat, as Labour leader
"Hoorrrdderrvees Pleeeaseeeee!!"
ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaa !! Classic.
Host is annoying.... Berkow is amazing and as always a joy to watch..... Please fire the host!
How many on here calling him a turncoat are first time tory voters
No voted conservative for years and switching allegiance from one side to the other is the literal definition off a turncoat 😎✌️
He should stand as LABOUR LEADER!!
Horrendous interview, talk about bias !!! Bercow handled himself brilliantly in the face of these gotcha questions
It was a good and fair interview. Trevor is left wing so were is the bias?
Bercow needs a new bathroom, needs someone to pay for it
I love John Bercow, i think a lot of Dutch love him, and we missing him as the speaker of the house. And is he so honest in this intervieuw, but the journalist Trevor dont want to hear that, what an awful man he is, with his stupid questions. I saw a intervieuw in the Netherlands with Mr. Bercow and he touched my heart.
I praise him for supporting Labour now, however it took so many years before he changed.
Trevor is really annoying. He has a guy like John on the programme and he focuses on gossip and watercooler conversation.
Agreed, he also seems to be trying hard to imitate and sound as intelligent as Bercow
Yeah but Berrow is a traitor to both party and country
Welcome to the UK. Look at most newspapers. We have the media we deserve the same way we have the politicians we deserve.
@@marioluigi9599 To party yes, but to country, I don’t think so. I think he was a pretty strong speaker, even if I don’t agree with all his methods or decisions.

No.

He always favoured the Labour Party!
Not in his early days. By his own admission, he was a raging right winger. Was in Tory society at Uni.

Bercow should be the next Labour leader!!! He'd give the tory's a taste !!!
Yeah, let's make a tory traitor leader. That would go down great with voters.
That will win over the lost northern seats in short order. The voters of Hartlepool and Workington will be rushing to the polls to elect Bercow as PM.

I have to admit. I liked him as a speaker and the only Tory I respected. That he discovered morality gradually is something rare for the right wing.
A credible Labour leader finally?
I liked him as speaker,I have huge respect for him now.
Yes, he’s a very likeable character Full of charm He’d make a good O07 main feature ... He’d do very well in Hollywood The make over staff might find him a bit challenging though ...
Tories out.
Bercow should go for labour leader and start the repair of this broken and divided country.
Bercow has my respect putting up with the persistent ignorant questions from Trevor!
Sour grapes he didn’t get a peerage! He has been in the Labour Party once before. Bercow is for Bercow! He’s insignificant in an insignificant political party. He doesn’t get any respect from me his lack of impartiality in Parliament was despicable!
My word this was annoying to listen to. The END of a sentence often contains the point, so let the guest get to it! We tuned in to hear a point of view, only for the host to shout irrelevancies over it. Pointless.
Poor questioning from Trevor “you don’t like conservatives”… it’s matter of policy
Spot on matey.
Yeah, he doesn’t like there policies. Remember he was one of the most right wing Tory MP’s when first elected.
He is a bully of the rare productive variety.
Considering how Bercow defended Corbyn for not being an antisemite to Alastair Campbell in an interview they did would Bercow be still allowed to hold this opinion as a Labour member
Bercow's paternal grandparents were Jewish immigrants from Romania and his mother converted to judaism. Also Bercow is an anglicanisation of Berkowitz. Whilst he cannot speak for the jewish community (no one can) his perspective should not be so easily dismissed.
A lot of Jews got booted from the party over antisemitism charges though. Some other charm or talisman must be keeping him out of trouble.
A vile narcissistic individual. Not putting him forward for the house of Lords was the best way to return his disregard for centuries protocol he ran roughshod over. A little man with a hunger for recognition. He is a taxi drivers son who talks like he is king of the hill, vile, vile, vile.
